Willie's Earthbox Auto Grow

Plants are still looking good. I have managed to get the VPD right for now. There will most likely be at least 1... Possibly 2 more rounds of defoliation. Nothing as dramatic as the lollypopping though. Tonight I am going to top dress with some flower girl and cavern culture... And some worm castings. This should be the last top dress. Not sure if it even needs it to be honest. Your leaves are showing problems, what they are I dont know but plants that big want food.Pending what you've given so far? I would be at 1/2 cup ish maybe a little less a week of 444 just to keep up with Nitrogen demands.

The wired leaves showed up weeks ago and since then have pretty much stopped. Any new growth looks good. I'm not sure what caused it. The biggest Rhino Ryder looked the worst followed by the cream cookies. After that the remaining 4 plants all look good and never really had any problems.

I don't know if you saw my last grow or not. I did 6 plants in 5 gallon grass roots fabric pots. The plants didn't get very big but they got big enough that I harvested enough to keep me in stock for 6 months or more. I was expecting bigger healthier plants this time, but not any where near as big as I got. I specifically chose smaller faster finishing plants and they are almost twice the size I was expecting. If I had it to do over again, I'd have used 4 or 5 of the regular size earthboxes, and just done 4 or 5 plants. My next grow will probably be in a 2x4 tent with full size earthboxes... And it will probably be 2 plants... Probably a mango Smile and a hubbabubbasmellascope

Ok so these were supposed to be smaller varieties of autos. For example my last 2 sour stompers we're under 16 inches tall. They are supposed to max out between 19-27 inches. This grow in the earthboxes... My 2 current sour stompers are over 40 inches tall. So anyhow I say that to say this... If I knew I would get this kind of growth with earthboxes, I'd have done 4-5 plants max and I'd have used the standard size earthboxes instead of the jr's. I think my plants would be healthier, and instead of watering every single day... I probably could have only watered once every 2-3 days.
I am still a new grower dialing in my grow style. My next grow is probably going to be in a 2x4 grow tent and will probably only be 2 plants in standard size earthboxes. I have so many seeds there is a chance I might start 3 seeds and just use the 2 that look the healthiest but I'll probably just start 2. I'm having a hard time deciding what 2 strains to use in the next grow. Maybe I'll still use the 4x4. If I do I'll grow 4 plants..

So anyhow, I did 1 last defoliation to keep humidity down and promote good air flow to mitigate the chances of mould. Current temps and in the 80's with humidity in the 50's. Would like to get my temps down but I don't have any ac in the basement yet. Here are the before and after shots. The 2 Rhino Ryder in the middle have a lot of leaves on the colas so I'm not super excited about that. The back left corner is the cream cookies and it is looking awesome. Very greasy and smelly. The front right corner is the double grape and it is right there with the cream cookies in the eye candy and smell tests. And the sour stompers although they are smelling pretty good now, are also not stacking bud on the colas like the other strains. They will still yield but unless they start packing on weight, they will be a disappointment.PXL_20220527_031633256.MP.jpg

I haven't finished this grow and I am taking 3-4 months off growing after this grow... But I'm still trying to decide what to grow for the next run...
