MG organic soil is not bad and you are dumb for saying that it contains slow release nutrients. As long as you balance your PH and feed the plant extra nutrients you can grow really good plants. NEVER BUY MG SLOW RELEASE OR MG CHEMICAL SOIL, IT IS NOT MADE FOR PLANTS THAT ARE GOING TO BE SMOKED!
Also with MG organic you need to add at least 50% perlite...
The thing I am worried about is why you are giving that plant a light that is not ment for plants? That is an outdoor flood light I think... Go purchase some CFL's and put them about 2-3 inches away from your seedling at all times.
That plant might look happy, but I am sure it is getting a crap load of infrared and red light.
