Well, damn!
I've been busy getting the main grow room up and running-plumbing a new chiller and resetting all of the electronics outside of the grow space.

Now I get to add some new toys to the system... it never ends :blsmoke:

Wait... you are using PH perfect from Advanced Nutrients...
Which is more expensive because it keeps your pH stable.
And you always have a pH imbalance?
Why are you still using it then? Go for the cheaper version.
Or am I missing something?

its rlly old and was left outside in the heat for a couple months, the Ph perfect is rlly unreliable and the way i have it set up, it auto mixes into the Reservoir, some times it mixes 1-2 exra ml of micro, or bloom, and it messes up the PH i rlly need a new system lol

i only use this nutrients coz it was lying around but idk anymore :/

and also the other stuff like cal-mag, seaweed extract, and a bunch of other natrual shit is added after the nutrients so the Ph perfect is pre much useless

Received both the micro and the original size packs in the mail yesterday. After reading the enclosed instructions I decided to use the micro's in each tote. I'm interested to see how they work.

Will you make a separate journal for this?

Very nice setup. I’d be interested in following a separate journal as well. How many gallons is your system and what are the micro and original packs rated for? @GBAUTO

5 -10 gallon Rhizopots filled with Promix HPCC in bloom being fed Botanicare Pure Blend Pro with supplements, hand watered.
8- 10 gallon deep water culture system in veg being fed Botanicare Pure Pro Blend with supplements and testing Veg+Bloom line on 2 buckets.
This pen would make things real easy for checking my ph of my buckets. I hope I win!

I'm running 4-17 gal HDX totes plumbed together w/2" piping. Simple 700gph mag drive pump pumps from the last tote through a 1/4hp chiller and back to the first tote. System volume is about 42 gal at proper level. The micro's are rated for 10 gal each and the original is rated for 35 gal.

I received the 35g inline version as a tester. Just started a thread in the grow journal section if anyone’s interested. HLG vs Amare rdwc

getting my RO unit this wednesday so I can design my hydo system. I am looking forward to seeing how this product works for experienced hydro growers. I would be interested in this on a micro scale for my mini chamber. I have posted the progress on this project here
I plan on running one qb 288 v2 rspec 135w light in that tiny chamber. If it ends up too much i might dig out one of my old mars 2 lights for it, cause those are just sitting in a box now.

It would be nice to do a DWC system , but I also want to be sure if I lost power this winter whatever hydro system i go with that the plants don't die. We lose power sometimes for 4-6 days after a bad storm.

Any ideas/input will be greatly appreciated and I would like to try one of these ph corrector things with some Dyna Gro or megacrop in my lil "test" chamber :)

please try to dig me up a free small one @TorusHydro , or I'll even buy the smallest version. I like trying new things and I will post my results on here. I would love it if the RIU community helped me design my micro cab!

The Micro's have been keeping my system right at 6.0, plants are cranking along and I'm working on weaving them trough my trellis netting at the moment.

How long has it sustained 6.0? All week long?
Yes, since day one.
I pH the nute solution I top-off with to 6.0 before adding to the system and it stays there. It will attempt to adjust for a major deviation from 6,0 but it uses up the chemical components of the perfectph stick. That means it will 'run out of gas' faster.

Nice. Do you happen to have a float valve hooked up to res keeping water levels steady? In other words, is there a different pH of water being introduced constantly, RO or Tap? My system is has a float valve using Tap water that had a pH of 8.5, quite high so after a couple days the pH has drifted up and I must lower on the 3rd day
