Lawyer says 75 % chance of jail time. We hope to drag it out for another 4 months or so. I'd be home next year some time depending on the sentence. I will update everyone as I learn more throughout the year. I appreciate your support brother. I have a close friend working the garden. Once I jump back down next year (or in 2019 :wall:) then i will hit you up for some of eastys treats.

the attitude and severity of the judge can make all the difference, if its possible to have case adjourned & or moved so that a judge with a more relaxed attitude can handle you case the outcome may be more positive? im not sure it would be possible in the states but in Australia its a viable option, i got sentenced once to jail time, then while inside we heard an easy going 'travelling magistrate' was passing through the area, i was advised by learned people inside to appeal my sentence...i did & was given a good behaviour bond for 3yrs...very little time was served

thanks for the tip. From what i know, in order to change a judge there has to be a major discrepancy or bias towards me. I'm just going to be patient and whatever happens i will accept it and regroup. The judge seems fair, its my background that is going against me when it comes to a plea deal. I made many mistakes as a young man and its biting me now , even for a petty crime. Tanks again for your support bro.

hope it goes ok for you, and your 'fair' judge is ill on the day and a very lenient guy takes his place, theres judges out there who believe only in the worst of situations that someone should be gaoled
