I have an AC Infinity 48x48x80 grow tent in my man cave (converted a 12x30 shed into a 12x15 man cave) i have a 1500 watt radiant heater connected to alexa and set to maintain a room temp of 75 degrees. The temp in my grow tent can be as low as 66-68 and as high as 80.....i have 2 - 20x20 seedling heat mats getting delivered tmro and planned on putting them under the 5 gallon fabric pots that are on little stands (about 3 in tall) i have 2 - 8 inch inline fans....one is on a 4 all the time and the other turns on when it gets above 78. I also have a bedroom size humidifier and a bedroom size de-humidifierin the tent....humidity i seems to be controlling better (60%-80%. This is my first time growing inside or outside and i just planted my first seeds a couple days ago and im just starting to see little green heads popping out of the soil. Im using ProMix MP Organik soil and watering with distilled water. The nutrients im going to be using are Gaia Green Organics Power Bloom, Gaia Green Organics All Purpose and organic worm castings...how can i maintain better (and a little warmer) temps and any other advice for growing autos would be greatly appreciated

Agreed see if you can get it up to 78. The humidity can be anywhere between 50 and 80 while the plants are in veg, 65 to 70 would be ideal. Get some heaters going if need be. As another member mentioned, once you put a decent light (600 watt+) heat will be a welcome byproduct.

Plants like a gental breeze so move some air in the tent however is convenient. This will help stiffen the stalk and prevent them from elongation.

My plants like music (vibration), just like wind it helps strengthen the plant making it more rugged.

You are correct on wanting to heat the soil. Soil temperatures drive plant growth as much or more than air temperatures. Even if you could get the soil temperature around 75 or so that would help thing out. More would be good if possible.

Put your light close enough to take advantage of the radient heat but not close enough to cause stress. I shoot for 250 micro moles on plants coming put of the soil. What light are you using.

I got 3
32x32x63 inch tents I keep the room at 73 degrees
Inside the tents 80 degrees RH 50 to 80% small 9" fan I unzip the door about 6" to help control the RH and temp.
Is your man cave insulated makes a big difference.

Make it cost less on your wallet. Spray foam quick board insulation etc. The better insulated the less trouble you will have. I don't know what you mean by room sized dehumidifier but small dehumidifiers are trash.

Start them in a appropriate sized box or clone tent, you need to have enough light to produce heat in that size space.

There's also more light intensity in a smaller space all else being equal.
