Winterizing bho

goalie, did you notice it reacting when you had it In the vac? Basically did you vac purge it to get rid of any left over solvent, and if so, did you notice any escaping? Or did you vac it for that type of consistency?

Looks really tasty!
Hey WarMachine, I actually found that when i keep the temps low like 95 - 110F i do have to vac it, but i keep some taste that way. It reacted in the vac in a huge muffin, then i flipped it, let it muffin again but in total maybe 5-6 vac pulls less than 4-5 minutes each time. Each pull it would react less and less, and when it only had small bubbles that didn't react fast i decided it was done. What is escaping, is it butane, or everclear or something else? I don't know.

When i use higher temps like 150f of course it loses all taste, but i don't have to vac it.

Holy hell what a great thread... and what awesome temps in the northeast right now!!!

I've been winterizing(doing my pours/filtering etc) outside, overnight temps are about -10 with wind chill beyond that at times... much more efficient than my whirlpool freezer haha
