I got you
So I copy your diagram and run it into l2 instead for low setting

Will I just cut a bit of brown wire from the plug and use that to connect l to l2 ?

Is that piece of black wire in LT maybe for the job?

It looks to me like its only screwed on it doesn't connect to anything?

I'm glad to help

oh and if you want low setting you are missing a jumper between LT and L1
so leave it like it is now and add one more jumper cable

it sure is buddy they left it there for you to use, and if you look closely its not even the LT terminal , thats just a blank terminal but thats a ventis tt
op here has another brand see second pic of op, they even didnt include jumper cable expecting you to be a electrician lol
they even state that a electrician should do the wiring .. lol , now that i think about it, op make sure you tighten those screws well and do not leave exess copper out of the terminal to avoid shorts and most important of all DO NOT WORK UNDER VOLTAGE allways unplug, wire , then plug .. yeah u are now oficially qualified to do the job xd

in the manual they make this jumper between LT and L1 to be a switch so you can turn on and off minimum speed but you can do it permanent, i tell u this because if i where you i would get that jumper out of the case and put a switch in the middle of the jumper like they show , now you have a switch that enables you to go from max to min, let me know if you need help to do it, you can even put a hole in the plastic case and put the switch there; like this one
