I'm adding few lights to my room this weekend, I'm looking at my options and noticed I have a old dryer line in perfect spot, it's a 30 amp 10-3.

What options do I have?

Cheap ones, besides light controller?

Setup for 220. It's the way to go. My room has dedicated 220 for all lighting and 110 for all the rest, pumps, fans ect. You won't overload that circuit!

u can add 4 1000w lights. it would be really easy to pig tail a light controller to plug into old dryer plug. otherwise u will have to split it to 15a 220v plugs and individual timers for each light that have to sync up. also to be code u would need to make that 30a 220v into 2 separate 15a 220v circuits (because the plugs are only rated at 15a)

Using (2)15 amp would only allow me to run 2 lights safely. one for each breaker, correct?

The light controller would be best way to go?

I'm adding 3 lights.

I've always wired 2 lights to a 20 amp using 12 ga
or
one light per 15 using 14 ga. Or
One light per 10 using 16

is there any way for me to wire these lights without light controller?

I've never worked with 220 before.
