I was invited to a farm last weekend. It is where i get my pigs.

I never noticed the drive, a quarter mile of cactus, periscopsis (spelling?)

Must have been ten or twenty tons of them. I lamented to the owner that she should have planted peruvian torch.

She demanded cuttings. But when i mentioned that she could do grafts of lophoria she went nuts.

I figure ten years and she could have the largest field of peyote in the world.

I figure it is time to put my high temp oysters into production and this is the place. Big job, prolly wont be here as often till i get her crew up to speed.

Maybe ill get her cactus going too. But ten years is about half what i figure i got left.

Not with that attitude. At least you made it to your 80s and im assuming you still drive. Thats pretty good. Also it seems you still want to be alive, so im guessing life this far has been at least decent. There have been many a day I have wished narcan was never synthesized. But im glad im still here...kinda. If you only knew, how good some people view my life, but the reality that it has been far from good.

One of the cool things about being in my 60's is that no one can reasonably lecture me about my attitude.

I managed by luck, skill, wisdom and guile to make it this far, catch a fine woman, keep a few bucks in the bank and amass hundreds of wild stories. Ive had a dozen different careers, lived in dozens of places, had more than my share of women, drugs and experiences.

You dont get that while hefting a bad attitude.

Another thing about getting older is that you tend, slowly, to make friends with your demise. Oh, we are still aquaintances but if i work things right we will briefly be lovers, he and i.

I do too! I am so much a stronger guitar player than when I was young, and now clubs do not want to hire old men... :(

that sounds crazy, i am scared of getting older now! but you are only 60, you still have time left, and if you take good care of yourself you can live even longer

That playmate you married?
Cigars you haven't cut?
New opiods?

I once postulated to a friend that all women were different.

He said "but what if there are only seven different types

If that is true, im done. Cigars? Ive had most of them, opiates? All but one or two.

There will come a time when the annoyance of living is worse than the fear if dying.

I need to graft my little ones onto some rapidly-growing stock. I want to use periscopsis but haven't looked into getting some. I don't know anything about grafting, but I hear it's not difficult.
