Wiz's 2nd indoor grow w/ chocolope and white widow

Its been an easy grow compared to the last one. A few of the hairs are just now starting to darken up. I think they will be ready in less than 2 weeks. My roomate put his workout bike in the part of the room with the little guys..i think they like that co2 their foliage is thick and green as hell!

Does anyone know at what point I should flush these gals? They are at about 20% red hairs and theyre getting alot more every day it seems. Any input would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Yeah Spuces thread on harvesting is great.

You want to let all your stigma die off ( turn red/brown).
The wait for the calyxes to swell and they should cover 70% on the stigma.
Get a jewellers loupe (30x magnification) at the very least, to check your trichomes.
The heads will be clear, cloudy, or amber.
This will determine potency and type of high.

Yea i checked out a scope at the local hydro store but it was crap. I think im going to give them a fresh solution for a week and then flush them with fresh water for a week. So 2 weeks till chop depending on how they are looking. Ill post some pics tomorrow so yall can tell me what theyre lookin like.

I got my loupe off ebay.
They have some really good scopes and they're quite cheap.
In saying that I've only been using one for the couple of years.
Prior to that I purely went on just visual indications like i mentioned before.
When buds look done they usually are lol.

I will probably just have to order one. Thing is though these plants are showing clear progression its hard to miss. When the stigma brown they receede back into the calyxes and sort of "hug" the bud, most of them are still white and standing tall though. I wanna put up some of those high res pics tonight. Anyone got instructions for that?

I can't wait for your smoke report of the chocolope!!!! I had Chocolate Thai once growing up and I still remember it's taste vividly, and would love to experience it again!!

I tried to get a few good closeups on the buds so you can see the bud structure and all the good stuff.

This is what the little girls are up to. They are back on 12/12 with the rest of them now. I just put in a fresh batch of nutes with the big ones at 1300ppm and the little ones at 550ppm( still on canna aqua vega for one more week).

Hell yea OP it will be a couple weeks atleast so stay tuned budy. They smell better than anything ive ever smelled before.

Yes that's right mate.
Just looked through your pics and DAMN! they look great dude.
Loving those rope like towers of calyx.
They certainly have further to go but they look magnificent Wiz. Well done.

I really wanna see some hi res pics so go to the forum title page where it says 'post your pics'.
Make sure you've sized your pic to around 12cm wide before hand.
When you upload your pic copy the code and then paste it into your post.
Then make sure to delete the word 'medium' in the code.
It will then come out fullsize, that why you need to size it first for our screens otherwise they will come out huge.

I hope you can do it dude because those chocolope buds look chocotastic!

Thanks alot mammath Ive been wanting to put up high rez pics for a while. Im going to wait a couple days before I put up more so we can see if theres any more progress. Before this grow I didnt even know calyx ropes like that even excisted, I cant imagine them getting any bigger but i hope they do lol. I think there is atleast a week and a half to go though. I cant wait for that smoke report

Dont even hesitate man. This is probably going to be the best stuff ive ever smoked before. Are you thinking about getting a little grow going or what? It is a once in a lifetime thing..one of the coolest most exciting things ive ever done before.

Well I have been doing a SOG since Jan. this year and use to do my own and help a friend about 10 years ago. But am NO expert and just recently found myself learning a lot more than I knew!

With my little experience I knew better than to start bag seeds and ordered from Attitude (after find RIU and researching). Been working with G-Force, Blue Chz, Strawberry Blue, and Afghan Special. The Afghan took off into the lights and wasn't too impressive and ditched it. But I did start a new mother of this recently, going to give her another try. I think I have more skills now, lol.

So anyway I have been getting bored with these strains and started looking around. I think I am narrowing my list down to defiantly getting Chocolope and White Berry...possible Sensi Star too.

I would love to start a journal but am honestly scared to do it. ...someone talk me into it lol

Attitude is where i get mine from haha. Yea those are all really good picks. One thing i have finally learned though is that unless you have more than one light you only want to grow one kind of plant. Otherwise all your plants will be different heights and the tall ones wont let any of the others get any light. So make sure you just go with one or 2 that grow to be the same height. I would grow sensi star but the prices are so high for those seeds..damn.

Here are some of the last pics i will put up before chop down. These gals have been going for 10weeks so im going to start their flush today. They will flush for 4 or 5 days then ill chop them down. I cant wait to have my hands on these buds..trimming for hours and hours..
