Woke up to Bud Rot

Just woke up to one of my colas with minor bud rot. I went ahead and carefully cut that piece off the plant. I Inspected my plant very well and dont see to see any other signs. I had just sprayed my plant with master wash a couple days ago and didnt realize the humidity would rise in my area. Thinking thats what caused the rot I went ahead and added a second fan to the greenhouse. My Question is im literally at day one of week 7 and still see white pistils. Should I continue along and start a two week flush now or just continue as I normally would with nutes etc untill i see more of my pistils retract?

The later. And if you can clean out any underneath stuff that will help with airflow too.

Did you see any worms? I had worms, then bud rot a few days later. They shit in the bud and that will cause it to rot.

Didnt see any worms had a caterpillar problem during veg but bt cured that and i also just sprayed for spider mites with master wash. Our humidity has been crazy here in the midwest this last week and maybe my one fan wasnt enough? im just afraid they wont make it to harvest i cut two buds today as i saw another one with it. I went ahead cut a extra 2 inches in the areas that were effect just in case and i put some poroxide with a qtip on the top area of the branch that was cut. I dont see anymore but boy am I worried. I went ahead and bought another smaller fan and a microscope that should be here later today to check the tris in case I need to harvest early. Should I just start flushing now?

They are looking good. How much further do you think they need to go? Maybe go to half strength nutes. Then if you do have to do an emergency flush, there won;t be as much to flush.

This is my first grow so im thinking maybe till like end of month.
Still a lot of white hairs. You may have a little longer to go than that. But if you feel there is a risk of more bud rot, you can always take off a few of the top buds in 2-3 weeks, then let the rest of it fatten up a little more.

I'm growing some bag seed that is heavier budded than my Sidetracked: strain. It has had bud worms, bud rot and PM, while my tall skinny assed strain is golden.

Thanks gonna play it day by day maybe do half nutes and really try to not overwater or anything that may also cause it.
Will update as I go if anything else happens

Yeah I do understand that but the product is 99% water and is said to not effect taste chose that over neem oil for that specific reason

Ideally you really shouldn't spray anything in flower you wouldn't want to smoke

I hit my bud worms with Neem a couple weeks ago. When I got a little bud rot, I cut a couple of buds on each side of the bad ones, just to be safe. Smoked some of it the last couple of days. Stony, but taste like Neem.

I understand man but I'd rather smoke bugs than pesticiedes, personally I would have cut that thing up and burned it. If you are gonna grow again any harvest you have Will be suspect to give mites again....

Here is a pic of a bud from a robust healthy Green Crack contained in a GH...no budworms no spray. It can be very nonchalant to show itself (small yellow leaf in the center). Moisture and humidity are your enemy. I had 3 fans a dehumidifier and a pretty tight 10x10 GH and still lost a half dozen or so large colas on top before I realized anything. Some strains are more prone to botrytis and rot than others.

Hey Larry dunk your buds in a bucket of 110 degree water give a light swish a few figure eights 30 seconds to a minute give another rinse in cooler water, hang to dry with fans until moisture is gone. I tried this sometime back having not paid attention to mites well enough and had to spray well into flower. It's a pain in the ass but the buds turned out so clean and perfect that I have since "washed" all my crops.Hsarvest (40).JPG
