Was just involved in a hit and run. Managed to chase the car down and get the liscense plates.

Wanted to get some better pics of this freaked out EG Pheno. What the fuck is this supposed to be? So my buddy says that none of his look like this one. Fuck it, flower it for 12-14 wks if I gotta get something out of it. Im not thinking that theres anything EARLY about it. Its only a couple weeks behind the NL and its got a ton of little bud sites. All I can say is that it better be some potent shit...Which I guess EG is not known for. SO the bonus about growing this lankk lady is that I got to get some experience with LST.
The WhiteRhino sprouts are going great. Thinking that this time around Ill be transplanting to something like a 2 quart pot before going to the final 2.5gal flower pots. So that I don’t waste so much Dirt/perilite/hydroton on plants that are male. As well as feeling a little more comfortable with Cloning and taking tops off all the plants before they goto flower. This time around they will be 12-14” before flowering. Gotta long way to go.
The WhiteRhino sprouts are going great. Thinking that this time around Ill be transplanting to something like a 2 quart pot before going to the final 2.5gal flower pots. I just finished/passed my first year apprentice school. Thank you Thank you. Still got 2 more yrs, which is actually only 16 more months left, 24 month total. Celebrate!!! Drinking Jameson and baileys...classes start back up in Aug-Sept Boooooo!

NL is a short bushy deep green sturdy bush. Thick white hairs spiraling up all 9 branches. Cant smell anything. Shes super sexy and getting bigger everyday. I might have to move the futon in the flower cab once she starts gettin frosty.
EG just got staked. Got some perfect 3 bamboo stakes. Zip-tied em to the side holes in the top rim of the pot, so that they didnt stick into the dirt Then used tiny zipties to hold lanky branches to the stakes.
Thinking about dropping this 400W HPS to supplement. Just dont want it to get to hot in there.

Weird EarlyGirl pheno. Seems to love its new staked stalks, used little zip-ties.
NL is still puttin on weight, a lil frosting here and there.
The sprouts are lovin life! Was wondering if the Catnip, being in the Mint family might give the Weed a little minty flavor if it were in the flower box.

Need to figure out what kinda soil additives to fatten up these 2 a lil more. Been looking at the FF Soluble addys, beastie bloom and Cha Ching. Herd something about ChaChing being to hot.
EG has bud sites galore, hopefully shes a real producer, with a wicked Sativa Buzz!!
NL is super leafy bushy, tons of hairs. Cant see any froasting in the pics yet. Super Healthy, glad I topped her. 9 major bud sites.
Theyre both guzzling 1 gal H2o every other day, only feeding once a week. Should do 2 feedings a week but I dont wanna burn em, if it aint broke dont fix it right, just stay on target, dont get gready.
WR is gonna get some new dirt and some 2.5 quart conts. A couple are showing some different traits.
Another week the Toms and Peps are going outside.

Yup yup, Thanks for saying so. Shes been nothing but happy the whole time, never have problems with it. I killed the only clone off that plant, the only female I got out of 10 seeds. Mostly my fault on the noobie fail %.

Just pop'd in the 400W HPS verticle Suplemental light. My Eyes are burning!!! So was the mylar behind it, its fixed now. Hasnt really messed with the temps to much, we'll see here in another hour how hot it gets. If the heat goes up to much Ill have to pull it, OR GET ANOTHER FAN! YEAH BABY 1K!!! Need a bigger inline/scubber combo. Been reading that the White Rhino is STINK----E! Better be prepared for that. Didnt relize that theres 4 fans in that flower cab now.

Yeah so it'll hit a 100F real quick. been keeping the doors open for the whole 12hrs and it keeps the temps dwn around low 90s. Need a bigger inline/scrubber and a portable AC unit. So far the plants have been loving it. Massive growth in the lower node lvls. Givin em a 1/4 turn everyday at lights on.
Sativa is just fuckin cool. Besides it gives me something to do other then water and turn em. Make sure that the branches are getting support, and that they're gonna get good light. Wouldnt have been able to handle the strech without the LST and Stakes.

Took the scrubber off the cooltube and moved the 400W infront of the intake so that most of the heat that the 400w is producing gets sucked out. Keeps the cab around 90F tops.
NL is a Champion bush. Shes always reaching for the lights. Crystals are starting to spread.
EG has been renamed by my girlfriend to the "CombOver". I gotta good chuckle out of that. The Combover clone is the biggest in the veg box, she might be going outside somewhere soon.

Plans to purchase 10 LowRyder#2 femmed are in order. Decided to turn the Veg cab into a LR flwr cab for about 2 and a half months. while the White Rhino finishes up. Will be ordering seeds very soon.

Best news ever....! Got 2 female WR out of the original 3 that got sexed, 1 shows good node spacing and very strong stalk/stem structure, the other one has this lanky thing going on. We'll see which one clones best and reverts back to veg the bestest. These 2 ladies were the fastest most aggressive plants out of the 8 seedlings that made it. 3 more sex unknown in the flwr cab and 2 still in the veg cab. As well as the 2 pertty grrls that were sent back to veg. Still need to figure out what to do with the EarlyGrrl Combover clone. Awsome ending to a great day. They'll get 4-5 days to recoup back to veg then its a topping and clones. Feels great! I love it when a plan comes together!

So how long are you flowering for til they show sex? I'm trying to decide how I want to do it for my next grow.
Should I plant all my seeds, veg them, take clones, flower clones, determine sex, flower female clones, take more clones off females in veg
or
Plant seeds, straight to 12/12, determine sex, clone females, flower originals, veg clones
The first option is what I'm leaning towards but the 2nd option is quicker. Not sure how much value to put in the whole "keeping original seed females as mothers" approach. I don't see why a clone off an original seed female can't become my mother . It's one generation off, if we're counting cloning as another generation. Scientifically I don't believe it is. Which approach have you been doing?

Trying to get to point where I can keep a mother plant for as long as I want to run that strain. In the case of the Northern Lights Im running, was unable to keep a clone of this wonderful plant. Now seeing how shes turning out It woulda been nice to keep cloning her. None the less. At this point With the WR theres no telling how these babies are gonna turn out once they start to swell and bud out.
Thinking that once all the females are isolated, taking 5-7 clones off of each one. Waiting for Clones to show Root growth, then flowering all the original females. At this point the first 2 females are already getting to big for this veg cab. Hopefully Ill be able to find a shorter mother plant that can keep cloning
The male showed sex in like 2-3 days. The 2 females took 7 days. Paying super close attention to the sexing phase. Figuring if I can spot the white tongues popping out at the earliest possible moment. Then I can get em back to the Veg box ASAP. Cutting down on the time it takes for them to revert.
Ya know Stink Buddy doesnt really use mothers for his cloning. He always takes clones from the vegs that are about to go into flower area.
One thing Ive learned since starting this grow op late last year. Is that there is POWER in Numbers. Germing 10 out of 20 WR seeds to make sure that I get a good female ratio. As well as once these first 2 WR revert back to veg there should be about 10 different clone sprouts to take + the tops, + any other females not sex'd yet. My line of thought is that then Ill be able to pick out the next generation of clones from the clones that cloned the best. At that point where I want to have the leway to make sacrifices when it comes to plants. Don’t like having to depend on seeds or a smaller batch of clones. I dunno rambling now.

Good things, I'm gonna keep pondering what I want to do. Kind of leaning towards option 2. Especially since I'm starting from square 1 with zero mature plants. It'll be nice to get everything 12/12'ing then clone the females and get the clones vegging along while I flower the originals.

My main concern for a perpetual grow is stunting or mutating a killer clone then taking a clone off of stunted mutated clone er something bad like that. Like having a great line up for cloning or a fantastic tried and true mother. Taking clones from her to find out ya seriously fucked her up 4 weeks ago and now everything in flower is hermied. The worst fucking nightmare ever! Then its back to seeds and finding a good female to propagate.
I feel ya bro, its a quandary, did I just say quandary??? Opps party foul! SMOKE!
So anyways, me thinks that my set up is still a long ways off from a solid schedule. Plus I need some serious upgrades to get everything tuned up just right.
Priority 1: Portable AC unit! Air Filter, 6” inline/scrubber, maybe even a 8”.
T5’s for the Veg Cab, the 600w MH is awesome but it costs to much to run especially when the house AC and the grow AC are runnin in the summer!
A remote super small grow tent for some MALES!!!! Something with a little flouro in it that can be set up in a remote location for a couple weeks until ample pollen has been collected. That’d be sweet huh? Not really a priority though.
Before winter hits, would like to build some better cabinets. The flower cab is not totally light tight. I have to practically wrap the whole front of the cab with black plastic tarps to make sure and seal off any light the Veg cab is giving off. Getting real old!!! But we do what we have to do.
