I have been vegging for 8 weeks, my girls are between 22"-28" tall. I just changed the light cycle to 12/12 and I hope in 8-10 weeks I'll have some sticky nuggs!!
Wondering how long to veg for a 1~2 foot plant.

i had a lemon skunk i vegged until 8 inches tall from seed.It stretched to 48 inches tall! From what ive read if you flower very early the plant stretches alot to try and get to a decent size for survival/to catch pollen.Where as if you veg until the p;ant is showing preflowers a typical sativa will then go on to triple in size and an indica will double or maybe not even double .If you want to keep the plants short i recommend topping early ,flowering early and maybe tie down the branches aswell oce the stretch kicks in.

Bullshit plain and simple. Maybe with seeds started on 12/12 but clones are already mature and wanting to flower not veg up.

when I did hydro I had a clone jump like that, it was 6" to start so maybe thats it the extra 2 inches. it does happen with some strains but I only had it happen that onceevery other strain in the run jumped from 6" to 3 feet

lol theres lots of vids out there, you got to get the big bulbs out if ya want big plants...as simple as that
now you do make me giggle, so are you trying to tell me growing s e e d s from 12/12 will give me bigger plants than 4 weeks veg from s e e d ............. ssshhhh go and read.

really I would suggest a 6x6 room if you can find the space but like was said long as you can keep it cool it will be fine

all depends on what your goal is. do you grow to sell do you grow for you? do you grow for a few months and want enough to last you for the year do you want to grow just enough to make it from harvest to harvest. not everyone does this to make money, not everyone needs to have a quick turn around some people might just have time to grow in soil and only grow for 3 or 4 months a year and have the meds they need. you might grow 3 plants every 3 months and have all you need you may not have room for a big light. I would call a 1000w a big light not your lil 600 but hey whatever you have not really added anything to this thread good day!

Veg for 60-90 days and they don't. Trust me. They don't have to.

Big lights - I agree. My 1st 3 DWC units are amazing me daily and I've never personally seen a pot plant in a hydro unit until I started my first one 2 weeks ago. Unreal growth! Newbies are still better off in soil to start IMO.

Me personally 12/12 from seed and LST and all my plants stay around that height and will very rarely get over 3ft.I Veg with a 400w mh and 400w hps for flowering,If i started with the Hps they would get to 3ft.
