Wondering if I should flip to 12/12 flower cycle!!!

Soo, it's been about 6 weeks from seeds and I was thinking of flipping these girls into flowering within the next couple of days!
They've pretty much filled out my net and have a bunch of tops!
The roots seem to be doing great maybe a slight nute burn and cal-mag deficieny that I believe I have corrected!
Also growing in a 2x2 tent!

***Now mind you I did some mild defoliation today and pushed some tops under the net right before this picture! ***

But yeah biggest question, should I think about flowering in the next couple of days?!!!

Personally id trim them heavier and flip them now.
Its going to get crowded in there.
So my question then is if I do a heavy trim should I give a day or 2 for recuperation?! I don't wanna stress them to much going into flower right?!
I thought it was getting pretty crowded!

shouldnt make much difference imo
ive done really heavy trims right before and like a week after flip and didnt have any issues.
Sweet! Thanks man I'll give them a nice trim tomorrow! And then flip them on Tuesday! I have to get my nute water ready!
I'm always afraid of taking to much off and then I never end up taking enough off lol!

Yes, give them a day or two to bounce back just to at least focus on closing their wounds, Then flip. Too much stress at once can definitely trigger some unwanted stuff.

As have we all. But I think heavy defo then flipping within that same day, could be a bit more stress than needed just for the process of initiating flower hormones, it'd be best to let the plant close all of it's new wounds.

Trim now flip in a couple days, trim heavy at week 3. All fans gone, lollipop any buds smaller than the rest.
Once budlets/snowballs appear, I wouldn't remove them. As far as removing what will come to be small buds, remove heavily foliage 1 week before, 1 week after and between week 2-3 of flipping. Bud sites that will be small, you can easily soot. just fully remove them. But once it's started putting on pistils in clusters, don't fuck with it anymore.

I put lollipop, I just meant remove small buds that are not receiving adequate light, IME it's beneficial to remove buds that are noticably smaller than the rest

Ya to each their own. I'd be worried that's a bit more stress than it needs in mid flower. Usually you can tell if it's not gonna be much well before pistils/calyxes start stackin'.

That is quite the scrog man..... Only way to do it that well is from seed.

That was a Monster Crop, clone taken at day 33, vegged for months (had plants in flower tent). Got 19 zips of cured smokable buds, and I think it was 6 zips of shit I did not trim, (went into making FECO).
What great smoke, Barneys Farm LSD, great fragrance, a touch harsh, beautiful buds, and great yielder.
Grew that a few of years ago, did a fall 5 plant vertical grow, then a spring 5 clone horizontal grow, I got about 50 zips off those two grows so the entire LSD grows yield was just shy of 4.5 lbs of some very good medicine.
That made up 50% of the FECO I made for my prostate procedure. the rest was made up of buds from 5 former grows and some existing FECO I had on hand. It made about 360,000 mg of #1 FECO from 4 lbs of buds and about two pounds of the buds I did not trim well. It made 100,000 mg of #2 FECO. Did a 95 day procedure of 205,000 mg. Started the protocol at 1,000 a day and finished at 3,000 mg/d. Still make FECO with every grow and do a 250 mg wellness dose two times a day.

Yeah, I heard week 3 is the last time you should give it a big heavy trim and just let it do it's thing from there and fatten up!
