Working on Season 5

I've been away from this site for a while but was growin just the same. ;)
Under a new handle and working on season 5. Had a tough time getting my seeds to germ this year.
Only got three solid out of fifteen seeds, but they seem to be coming along okay.
Over my past few seasons, I have gone from growing quite a few plants at one time (13 first go around) to get a good harvest down to last season which was five.
This year I am going to work with three seedlings and pray I can land two females. Ideally NO males, but I have had them the last two grows. So, hopefully just one male and that will be that. My sacrifice to the growing gods.

My current setup is not much different than the last few grows. 600w HPS, an oscillating fan, six inch inline fan venting heat directly outside from the lamp. Temps are so-so at this point. The light is approx eighteen inches from the top of the tallest plant.

Whoops...couple other pertinent variables. Seeds are my own from a grow two years ago. They seem pretty hardy, produce nice trichs and stay female, for the most part...hahaha
Keeping my water at ph6.5 and have the youngins in fox farms' Oceans soil.

And an overall pic. The hood I modified myself using the six inch inline fan, some tin and the prefab you see on the lamp itself. It is suspended by some old cat5 ethernet cable I had. I found the cable was slack enough but strong enough to support the rig. The result is the cat5 acts as a dampener and stops the fan from vibrating the lamp assembly via the duct/tube (which in turn rattles the chains it is hanging from; basically a bunch of noise!). Its hard to see in the pic, but there is a second grey strand of cat5 I have pulling down so the inline fan is essentially "stuck" in it's position between the tension of both cat5 strands. Obviously the pic would not show it, but both strands are moving like a guitar string! ;) (wonder what chord their playing..hah).
The mist on the rear wall is over spray from the board I had to paint and mount for the exhaust duct. Nosy neighbors being what they are, I did this work from the inside and I over sprayed the board..Ooops. It wont hurt things much. Before I enclosed that area (framed in, insulated and dry walled) it was cinder block with NO white on it; plants did damn good back then, I don't expect them to complain now.
