Worklights as Growlights (750W, 1000W)

Has anyone tried using worklights to grow? I don't know if the Halogen bulbs will be good enough for the plants, but these suckers sure do get bright, and they are relatively cheap. The great thing about them is how easy they are to set up. Just rig it to the ceiling of your grow box, and plug them in to an outlet!

If no one has tried using these, I might have to experiment myself and post the results.

Let me know how that goes. From what i know halogen are probably better for budding if anything there light spectrum promotes stretching

havent done the research, but i could tell u w sum certainty heat will b an issue and maybe lumen/watt

No they suck do not use them
Those are halogens and they don't work for growing

This class seems like it would be amazing. I'm new to this site and I am so sad that I am going to miss out on it...
