The US branch of Pravda (the NY times) says that world leaders are laughing at the prez. Really?
I think they are uncomfortable with working with Trump. And who isn't.
Which one of those world leaders would change places with Trump?
Who wouldn't want to have his economy, and his rising approval rates not only in his country but around the world?
Truth has led NATO to a place where they have to reassess their commitments to their countries and the organization.
Either they want to participate in this, and pay their fair share, or NATO can be dissolved ... which would not be a bad thing for the US but France and Germany for sure would be in trouble.
The pres is there to call out world leaders for their lack of leadership. Macron has been publicly called on the carpet for his behavior, which he can not explain. That's uncomfortable.
Trump is not going to be loved for that, but it is in MY best interests that he do just that. It's what I hired him to do - represent MY best interests.
Are they laughing at him? Sure. Don't we all?
He says things unexpectedly, sometimes shockingly. We've all shook our head at his comments. We've all laughed.
And the people who work for him - their jaws DO drop because they never know what he's gong to say next.
He does that on purpose.
But, the sum total of all that disruption, all that chaos and discomfort is that NATO is having to consider some real serious questions for the first time. Thank you for that Mr. Trump.
And while all that is going on. While he is doing his best to represent the US in an important meeting, at home some of the more insane fellow Americans are doing the best they can to impede and obstruct by holding impeachment hearings on the SAME DAY as these NATO meetings. That couldn't have been done next week?
This impeachment circus will affect the Democrat party for decades. Their approach is negative towards the US - they hate my country as much as they hate Trump. The two are the same to them, and if they can destroy the country and trump, that's ok with them. Doesn't that sound like their goals and Putin's are the same?
