Can't wait to try my CoCo Hempys.
Dude in the shop had 3 brands. This one looked the best to my untrained eye.
Atami - CoCo Substrate
Coco Substrate contains an RHP quality mark that guarantees a coconut substrate of excellent quality. The coconut fibres have been properly washed, steamed and buffered, which guarantees an optimum growing substrate. The coconut contains sufficient nutrition for the 1st week of the growing cycle, afterwards you can add water with liquid fertilizers and stimulators for optimal results. Coconut has a perfect structure, which retains the nutrient solution easily and is thus quickly absorbed by the roots of the plant. Coconut substrate also remains fairly airy, so the roots receive much oxygen. The plants thus get a healthy and strong root system and develop at a fast pace.

I'm not worried, U got this!!! Just make sure to feed according to what your plants are telling you. Start light nutes and when they ask for more, adjust as needed. Looking like your just about ready. Just need the ladies the get some growth on them. I would recommend after this show to build a pvc frame (wood tends to soak up water (get spongy) and can cause mold, or so i've heard). Also buy some plastic snow fencing or similar, rather than metal chicken wire. Aside from that it looks great!! I'm no expert in the materials for a ScroG screen, just read different peoples opinions. Those materials would also be lighter and could be more managable to move around n such.

Sprayed the buckets today with a wood/plastic mat black paint, should i do another layer of black then white? or is 1 layer plenty.
Edit: i plan on doing a layer of white either way to reflect heat/light

I think a coat of white won't really reflect that much light or heat, if any. All the commercially available DWC setups are black anyhow. ... You're going to have a canopy of green over them when they get a decent size.
I would just give a few coats of black myself. You can test how light-proof they are by shining a flashlight inside.

tbh .. Atami are a well known brand and rightly or wrongly products from Holland I tend to take more notice of.

Could i use this on the inside of the pot to reduce any blockage? The only thing im concerned about with the hempy pot is blockage of the perlite... Wutcha think?

It might be OK. It might be over-engineering the thing.
Ive not experienced blocked Hempy's.... but then again, Ive not done Hempys larger than 2L.

So the idea is a 1inch hole 2 inches up correct? and a mesh screen on the inside... im okay with over engineering something to reduce any problems.

I have cloned before and the clones have already taken root i reveged some clippings from my first harvest, they are sitting in solo hempy cups right now waiting for nutes as i said i am just a bit fearful about fucking them up and chloramine possibly being in my water so i am procrastinating about giving them nutes.
Ive thought about using pvc to build the frames out of, the main reason i didn't go with it is because i wanted the crates to be very structurally sound since i will be pulling them out and rotating them pretty often, every few days to once a week i will rotate them so that each of the plants gets its day in the sun, i also wondered if the wood would promote mold growth but i have covered the area most likely to have water spilled on it in plastic, i guess we will just have to wait and see it would be nice to have lighter weight crates but as i said I'm just not sure the pvc would be strong enough to be picked up by the top of the frame regularly.

10l pure perlite mate, had a change of heart and have well flushed through them with h202 bath hopefully they will recover, just a thought it could have been the rainwater i was using from the water butt, have switched to tap water now,.

No Need. I run Cups, 2 Liters, 1 Gallon and 3 Gallons and never have a blockage problem. If I think I might, I simply poke it with a Toothpick and all is good again. My holes are anywhere from 1/8" (Styrofoam cups) 1/4" to 1/2" and do not use a Screen. For the first couple of watering's you will have a little perlite make a run for it, but after that, its pretty smooth sailing.
I even use 1/4" Rubber Grommets in some of my buckets, and I have Rubber Stoppers I can insert into the Grommet to plug the hole if I want/need to.

Its a WOH community thread.If you want to post pics, do so. I just made some suggestions to get the thing off the ground. As just 'one' member of WOH I would suggest that we keep it fast-flowing though.
FWIW ... I don't have any threads yet. I'll add mine soon to the list.

Took another batch of clones (in homemade pro-mix pucks this time!!) Usually make my own dip/soaking solution with Willow Tree sap. Works better than any dip i've bought. All out till spring (Best time to take the new shoots for making eno for the year) Stores in fridge for a long time. The black plastic bag is cut in half so it is practically see through, just dims the T5 intensity down. Usually keep it covered for the first 2-3 days and then start taking it off till they droop. Then cover them back up till they are standing again and so on till the cover is removed completely. By then lil roots are usually sticking out the cube bottoms 
Btw, grabbed some new ph test strips, my last ones must have gotten wet or a bad batch, they were way off on the readings. Peace!!
