So we got 2 bozo's now that grow coco hempy's lol.
I made 2 separate attempts at a CS conversion and never got the sac's to open up prior to the plants death.
...yeah, CS can be a pain to work with, ...have you tried the silver theosulphate method? ...i believe it's more expensive to buy the chemicals and that it's somewhat more toxic so more care needs to be used when mixing it BUT, it only needs to be applied once for it to be effective, ...or so i understand, i've only ever used the CS method myself and while it was a pain, it does work.
...i read postings from a guy who had a similar problem to yours and he just stripped the nanners off the plant and then ground them up afterwhich he just pollinated the plants himself with the resulting powder using an artists paint brush. ...and it worked.
Great to have you onboard BOZO.
Damn, another coco Hempy grower. Next run Im going to have to give this stuff a try. Please post a pic sometime dude, We love this stuff!!
thanks man and while i've never used the perl/verm mix, i discovered in my research that '
hempy' himself had upgraded to using coco rather than continue with the perl/verm mix, ...i like to do a LOT of research when i'm thinking of making changes and in this case i decided to go with the coco because it seemed to be a superior choice. (if you're interested i can link you to that thread but i'm pretty sure
hempy is no longer active in it.
...frankly he gets way too much credit anyway because hempy growing is just an adaptation of an ancient technology and
hempy is only responsible for bringing it to the boards and introducing it to us, ...and for that i am deeply grateful to him, ...but he did NOT invent this passive form of hydroponics.
...anyway, i'm 8 days out from my next harvest so i'll be sure and take some pics, of the room AND the harvest but as i already said, i'm not dialed in yet so i'm not getting anywhere near what i will be getting once i get a few more runs in the new space under my belt.
peace, and stay safe, bozo
