Great thread, I think I wanna try 2-liter Hempys SOG when I can. I don't wanna deal with Pumps and building anything yet. Maybe when I have my own house but until then I think a Tent along with 2 liter Hempys is the way to go. I have followed Xare/Moebius/420ifed threads and they are awesome. What strain do you think would do well in Hempy SOG? I know anything Indica dominate but anything in particular? I want one big fat cola lolli, preferably something frosted with a fruity taste or if not something with a KO stone with great yield? I am a noob so I would need something noob friendly, I have been reading about growing for like 2 years but I know its no substitution for growing it.

i went to the market to sell my cow. i trade it for a tshirt. indise the t-shirt i found these beans. i feel like i got ripped off! i guess imma throw these beans into a few 2l bottles of coco/perlite and drill a hole 2 inches from the bottom. dammit want am i gonna tell mom now?!!

What's up with the WWxBB? I'm guessing these where the extras that SoS's once gave out?!? Anyone know how good they are (or aren't) - I have a few but haven't grown them cause I've been unsure of the genetics :/

its from female seeds. and they sure werent free.. i needed a fast flowering indica. mostly one thats no so sensitive to nutrients like my super lemon haze was. cash cropping is also why i got the xbigbud. need weight and fast flowering. im not gonna lie.

Haha, no, sure urs weren't free... SoS's gave some WWxBB awhile back and I had no idea about the genetics so I wouldn't grow them... I'm guessing these are the ones cause there is no name, just BBxWW... Haha... I could be wrong... Have you grown these before? How's the smoke?

i know which ones you are talking bout. it might be the same one too... i remember it was female seeds... i never grew them before but im npt really growing for smoke. thats why i bought the c99. thats good smoke i heard. but for percy i got some super lemon haze. hands down best smoke ever. ill post how good each one is... should be ready in 4-5 months... ill let you know

Hi Marla,

Welcome to WOH, its great to have another Hempy convert on board. We have quite a few fantastic Hempyneers here, so when you pull the trigger on your grow they'll be someone here to talk it through. :blsmoke:

As far as strains go - IMO - just chose something you really like the sound of. .. Theres a significant amount of work involved to get off the ground and you really want something you can get excited about. tbh Its my experience that all strains Ive tried in 2L SOG work more-or-less. ... obviously some strains are better than others but that's really what it comes down to. ... with the taller plants, it may be best to stake them with a bamboo pole. ... shorter strains tend to make neater gardens.


Ken's GDP .... Amazing short plant with lots of unique flavor. Yield is medium. Rock hards A+ nugs. My present run is developing amazing frost. It really easy to grow in 2LSOG

C99 (either Mosca's or Female seeds) .. never done myself but seen it many times online. Looks promising if you have the headroom. Very popular.

Nirvana' Super Skunk ... I've dabbled with this strain and its GOOD. Very strong and potent smoke, also good in 2L SOG. medium height.

LOL!!! I remember that same event happened to me last week. You got some nice strains, the WW x BB I have grown and found 2 different pheno's which were one more WW dominant and the other more BB dominant. Both tasted the same and crystalled like WW, and will grow very tall.

welcome along marla! we're all happy to help whenever we can, but 2 years research before even starting is just fucking awesome--good work! happy to hear someone wants to join in the fun. Nirvana's White Rhino is a pretty good fit and very forgiving (she's a stout, hardy growing strain who tolerates all kinds of stress)--though i'm not sure if they're still putting out their white rhino (there's a controversy about the strain). Anywho, Moe's suggestions are always well reasoned, and the experts around here have their shit dialed in so sub-up to this thread and enjoy the ride!

Hey guys, what kind of yield are you guys getting from a 1 gal or the 2l bottles you guys are using? I have a couple empty 1 gal water bottles that I might use in a tent with the other 3 gallon girls I have

Hey Shiva, yes she's from seed. I started 2 seeds, only vegged for about 2 weeks. The one in the pic was really slow and honestly I didn't think she was gonna make it. She's only about 18" tall but has 6 heads that are filling in beautifully! The other one is still giving me some probelms (calmag def atm) but is a lot bigger last time I measured she was about 3 1/2 feet. They are complete opposites. Can't wait to see how thry both smoke.

Hey ppls! I have been off the growing for a years time cause of my living conditions. But now i bought a house and i have the room for my dreams!:D!
Im starting small in my tent as i get the garage dialed in. I have been growing in DWC on 2 previous grows. But when i started this one, my rez kept getting this slimey calcium looking thing. Hydrogen Peroxide PH Fluctuation and alot of other problems. I CANT TAKE IT NO MORE!. Here comes HEMPY! Really looking forward to this! Transplanted 3 Autos, Afghan Kush Ryder (5L), LA Diva(10L) and Blue Mammoth(5L). And i have a mother Pure Kush, ready for the perpetual SOG.
I have alot of Hempy Plans! But for now lets see if my plants survive the rough transplant :S GREAT FREAKING THREAD! Back to page 26 now :)

I've decided through no technical knowledge of my own that I'm going to water every day now, with nutes every other day and plain 5.8 ph water on the opposite days. There is no way to drown your plants if your solution is oxygen rich, I just don't feel the vibe to let them dry out much. And I'm too cheap to run nutes every day. I also think ts good to get a little flush on hempys with a bigger container that are going to spend significantly more time in veg before they flower. Ill do a half gallon plain flush every two weeks. Good thing I'm keeping notes again cuz I can't remember what I had for breakfast yesterday.

Is that CoCo youre using for your Hempys?

I wanted to go with perlite but being from Denmark there is no such thing as a local hydro store. The garden centers open Marts due to heavy winter :/ So ill be buying a bag online before my Critical Kush and Lemon Skunk moms become to big in the rooter :)
I use Hydroton Rocks and a spagnum pro mix 3/1. Not what i wanted but what i could get before i freaked out about the dwc res :)
But i miscalculated :joint: and did not have enough to fill the buckets. so one off the buckets is filled a couple inches with some torn off starter pots til i get some rocks :). Ill be going only perlite and i start my clones in jiffys. Nutrients Advanced Hydroponics of Holland. Havent used it before so i am following the chart this time around.
Damn its time to go to bed. Still aint past page 100 bongsmilie Se yall
