Just cut down and dried up the first round of snow white - 8.4z on 18 X 2l hempy or 13.2g per plant. My plants as of late have been receiving about 3-5 days of veg time after getting potted up. 1000w HPS.

Just cut down my strawberry blue (World of Seeds) and ordered a couple strains I have been wanting to try out, mostly as cash crops - Sensi Seeds Big Bud and Dinafem Critical+. Attitude freebies include 3 additional Dinafem fem strains - White Widow, Royal Haze and Super Silver. Anyone tried these Dinafem strains? I have grown WW before, if was a few years ago, pretty nice strain but unknown genetics from what I ran at the time as they were local clones I picked up. Excited to see the C+ and BB.

Nice . I haven't grown in about two years so how long is your dry time with your 2l's? My dam girlfrind is so impatient shes tryinig to sample my wet buds. I dry my buds in a 6 tier dry rack due to my limited space wich works good. Keep us posted with the sensi big bud and critical +. As I will let y'all know in the near future if hortilab sour star and reserva Privada purple wreck are good candidates for 2l sog. I can tell that g13 labs Pineapple Express is a good candidate for 2l sog. The main thing is that you should have a good mother and take cuttings between 6 to 8" and once they are well rooted go straight to 12/12. Trust me there's no need to veg and Pineapple Express doesn't stretch that much. Majority of my Pineapple Express look like this. I use house of garden nutes and pretty much followed the house of garden nutrient calculator to the "T."

Jeff, 7/16" to 1/2" works great for me in 2g buckets. Use a "step-drill" bit if possible...if you don't have one, make a pilot hole first with a small 1/8" bit then use your bigger bit. A larger hole allows instant drainage if you need to flush but also allows air to flow back in as moisture wicks upwards. It may be the the reason, to some extent, why we never see root rot or pythium in hempy's (lots of fresh air breathing in the root zone). I use a $5 roll of fiberglass window screen (Walmart) cut in a 1" x 1" patch and glue to the outside over the hole with simple shoe glue (contact cement). You don't want glue out-gassing in your root zone and it makes scrubbing the inside easier at grow's end. Remember when locating your hole, that the bottom of the hole forms the reservoir height, so add half the hole diameter to your initial center-mark. I have cracked a couple of buckets using an impact punch to make the initial divot for drilling so be careful.

yes, and no....to analyze the guru's statement, I want to first believe that abstinence is good....but then I ask myself "what bud stays wet for 30 days?" After all, it must be sampled in order to tell. Then I think the guru is actually designating the girlfriend to be the designated judge of the cure's finish with proper time on the books. At the end of the day, the trip up/down the mountain was good for my health.

Andrew Dice Clay's version of "Jack and Jill" came to mind for some reason.

I cracked my first hempy bucket by using a drill to make the hole, then I used an "Iroda blow-torch lighter" to burn a hole in my plastic hempy buckets....that worked like a charm

Hmmm...now what would you be doing with one of those in your possession ISK?

I heated up a metal skewer on the burner of the stove, melted right through...

I usually use a 1/2" hole saw with guide bit.. Does the trick with most plastics. I have a ~18mm diamond dust hole saw for making bongs around here somewhere, too..

ahhh.... I had some buckets sitting on a plastic tote to raise them a few inches towards the light. I'd originally bought the tote at Walmart to hold my 2L hempy sog, that I'm no longer gonna do lol. Its a clear plastic under the bed tote. Hope this helps. Thanks for the kind words as well! ATB

many pot grower/smokers disregard the wisdom of cigar smokers...as some would say "what the hell do I care about cigars"

cigars are a "legal" billion dollar industry that does hire universities & highly educated scientist to conduct research on cigars & the long-term storage of such..... some of this knowledge & technology is applicable/relevant to the pot industry

BTW...a nicely aged cigar would be 10 to 12 years old.....6 to 9 years would be considered as decent age, 3 to 5 are okay but immature...under 2 years is too young

If your cigars drop below 60% RH, they stop aging....just like pots does but at ~ 55%.....if you let your cigars go above 70% RH, you run the risk of mold (same as pot)....so we keep cigars at approx 62 to 66% RH, but need to do this flawlessly for years upon years.....that's why cigar smokers spend allot of money to maintain a constant humidity and temp (temperature is more about tobacco beetles.... lucky the little bastards don't like pot)

We can learn a lot from the cigar industry. I love the two way humidity packs that were deceloped for cigars. They make curing and storage hassle free.
