I like to do both, flush every 17-21 days and go for around 20% runoff. This round I haven't flushed yet and only been hitting around <10% runoff as I try to figure out how much mix the new buckets take. So far bone dry 2gallon buckets take a 1/2 gallon with 10% runoff. I'm at day 6 of flower right now and I'll flush them around day 17 then take them up to around 3/4-1 gallon each.
I aerate my water and found that no runoff is actually required. I can't say the same results could be acquired w/o bubbling your water/nutrient solution first. I did minimal and sometimes know run-off on my last run and noticed no difference in yield. I think Moe had stumbled across this aswell as a few other hempyneers on this site and others. Peace!!
Just modify it a bit. Have 2 65L scrogboxes ill turn into rcdwc. Gotta have two plants. Other wise ill be growing Lemon Skunk for the rest of my life, lol

Just use plain water every third watering (feed, feed, water). You shouldn't get any buildup then
Hi WOH, I'm still lurking here on a weekly basis, I also run 2l SOG and have been for about a year now... The last few yields I have been getting about 13-15g per 2L bottle. Finally getting my cloning back in order, running about 40 2L now, planning on hitting a full room of 90 2L under 2X1000W HPS soon... Taking my first round of clones off my BB and C+ seeds I ordered a month or so back so we'll see how that goes... My Snow White strain has been running really well lately..

heck only 90 2l's under 2x1000 I would at least squeeze 30 to 40 more if the number count isn't a issue. Also since you are only doing 90 2ls I would use 2x600 watt bulbs to save on electric and heat. Or another option would be to run 3x600's then you could run 150-160 2ls with less wattage. That's just my 2 cents.
I run the GH trio with calmag and liquid QB after week 4.. After week 3 I run 10ml micro/5-7.5ml grow/20ml bloom + 2-3ml liquid QB and 3ml calmag per gallon. I might flush once or twice during the grow, otherwise I just flush for the last 2-3 waterings before harvest. I run powdered QB the last week to harden the buds up a bit. I water until I see bubbling action out of the drain hole, mostly every 2 days but sometimes 3 based on my schedule (45-50 hours a week at my full time job). I store mixed water for two waterings to cut down on my garden time. I have had no problem with using mixed water once then finishing that mix off on the 2nd watering two days later. I just makes sure to wish the holy shit out of my water for a good minute or so to aerate.
Yeah, I am aware I could run more. I just don't have the time honestly, 90 is really my limit. I work sometimes 50+ hours a week, have a 9 month old puppy and many other priorities in my life so I can't necessarily max my yield. And I can't afford to change out my light set up at this point. I can afford the power bill and heat is not much of an issue in my region, particularly Sept-May.

Nizza here's my observations. The seed run is special,.... the symmetry and uniform growth is beautiful and only comes from seeds. Now the 1st gen clones seem to show more vigor but without the symmetry. My thought's are that clones pick up an older genetic code from their mother ..... Starting from the age of the mother, & WHERE IT WAS CUT FROM THE MOTHER. The closer to the main stock the older the genetics, and some say the harder to clone, & I'd have to agree. A main stock clone (taking the top) from a seed, or a clone will generally have to go through a hard wilt & then recover. This clone will make the best mother because it is much older genetically. So to get back to your question, it's fine to use a clone as a mother to make many clones,
