@Someguy So you flush every 3rd water? Have you always done it this way? I assume the results are working for you or you wouldn't be doing it. The only time I ever flush is 2 weeks from chop.
 
Not flush necessarily. Just water only. I also never ph my water so wtf do i know. Plants grow though... You can check out my journal, lots of pics there. When i flush the last week i use AN final phase once the. Water every other day till chop. All in all its been working well. :-). Im in 100% perlite. But my res is hydroton then lined with landscape fabric then perlite.
 
thanks for the advice shaggn~ yeah i'm still gonna blast everything with captain jacks deadbug brew, not because of the rust but because of the white marks which look a lot like either thrip damage or spider mite problems.
I was at a buddies house he has mites so i figure maybe i carried them back with me, and also there was a flower in his kitchen that was webbed up !
not sure if the mites are the same ones that attack weed, but just to be sure i'm gonna do a thorough spraying!!

no pH imbalance because the soil is buffered with dolomite, so i don't really know why it had a few rust spots, maybe from temp issues as a seedling; as long as it doesn't progress i'm not worried.
these soil pots are going to be topped down to a 2-top plant, take the clones as hempy mothers for a SOG run after the soil pots are finished. The soil plants are then allowed to grow straight up till ~ 22-23 inches and then trained into a circle going the same way as the pot, then put into flower.
this training method will result in little stress, and an even canopy.

I plan to do this on the SOG hempy run too!
 
now some of the newest growth has small holes in the leaves :(

i'm still not quite sure of the attacker, but i'm quite sure there is a pest

i noticed i had a cut from a plant i accidentally broke off, and the cup of water that it was in either had very small flies or coco in it..

anyways any help would be great, i'm thinking maybe earwigs? maybe thrips or whatever.

not tooo worried but i would love to eradicate those SOB's
 
I am going to make a pepper spray that I can use as
a preventative. I suppose that Spinosad is about as
safe as any other spray, in flower. No too much experience
on the bugs issue. Only gnats for the most part.

i have used kapow and pure 3-way from pure nutrient to get rid of mites and pests. This is the only stuff that has worked for me and is safe in flower to boot.

all i know is that i used this stuff for two weeks and no mites since! That was many months ago now.

I know a few people who have just grown out Dinafems Original Amnesia and mostly the results were excellent. A few plants really sucked but as long as you pop a few beans you should get a few good choices.
I just had some Serious Seeds Kali Mist that was some of the best sativa smoke I've ever had. Up but not edgy, just a wonderful mood elevation that under the right circumstances would probably be down right euphoric.
Ace and Cannabiogen have some pretty amazing worked landraces and pure sat hybrids that are suited to indoor cultivation (worked for better yield, less stretch and shortened flowering times while preserving the buzz). I'm a big fan of the Panama from Ace and can't wait to be able to grow some out.

Thank MrE. I have the Kali Mist in mind, and the Dinafem looks like at least a chance at a good Amnesia version.

I have been looking at CannaBio especially Destroyer. I didn't realize they are affiliated with Ace, I will have to check out the Panama.
 
Kali Mist is the best herb I've ever grown.

It doesn't yield the fattest. It is finicky to grow. You WILL need scent filtration. Veg took me longer than normal for decent yielding plant size.

It seriously is probably the best smoke for flavor and high ever to come out of any of my rooms. I love Kali Mist. If its for personal and you love a candied spiced mango flavor (like Mexican taco truck mangos) that smells like a tropical garden and lifts your spirits like waking up in paradise I highly suggest Kali Mist.

I noticed two phenotypes from my seeds both lanky vine like sativa stature but one was a bit more stout and packed on lots of bud spiral staircase style compared to the other pheno. it tasted almost identical. Nicely done in about 10-11 weeks. Worth the extra few weeks though. Great growth type for training if you don't mind taking the time hardly any leaves on the Kali if you could fill a SCROG you could prob pull a good harvest from it.

Ace as in Ace Seeds. They have some fantastic gear! I think I'm going to be growing their Golden Tiger or their Malawi in honor of my deceased friend Kite High/Illumination.

My friend who grows it feeds it Dyna Gro's Foliage Pro and Protekt the whole way through to keep the leaves green and healthy because his chosen mom takes about 90 days but produces some of the most amazing pot ever and is absolutely worth the time to maintain a constant head stash. He's now doing it with shorter flowering strains and seeing them do as well or better than when they're fed higher P nutes in flower. I think the longer flowering strains are more likely to develop issues if they're getting an imbalanced diet.

Simi did that in a micro space with a 150W CMH bulb and I'd say he did pretty damned well for such a small light in such a small space.
I'm going to be popping some Kali Mist F2s from a friend very soon and something from Ace (I'm not sure what most likely the Golden Tiger or the Malawi).
Man it feels good to know I'll be growing again really soon!

Holy shit, 6 months!? I'd go out on a limb and not recommend that for anyone growing cash crops ;)

I would love the opportunity to see it growing and give it a sample for sure!

I would love to have fields of their gear going!
I loved the bit of their Panama that I smoked and think if it was better grown it would have been on the all time favorites list. When I have funds I have to get at least one pack. I might get a few to try to find a really nice lady.
 
I just went a looked up that Old timers haze...

Seems that for sativa lovers this is the pick, i would love to get a taste of the 70's..

I would have to get another tent designated just for that, while i would love to do so, that is another year or two down the line...big dreams, buy bigger home
