Worlds biggest trichrome? Diesel Ryder

I am growing my first ever grow and take macro pictures of the plant now during the last days of flowering to see trichrome color changes.. then i bumped into this gigantic Trichrome! Or is it even a trichrome? looks like a worm :D But when i zoom in even further it is see trough with the big round head.. just like a trichrome.
And I have one more question, my plant is starting to show lots of nutrient deffiiency signs now when im on my 3d week of flushing but still not enough amber crystals.. shall I still continue flowering for a few days until i get the 50%/50% Amber/Milky trichromes? and my 9 weeks when it should have been done went out yesterday.

Thanx

and here is the trichrome picture:

nice picture! I would harvest when most are milky and only a few amber. I wouldn't wait for 50% amber, that is too long imo. But that is personal preference.

what kind of light are you flowering with? i flowered under metal halide a couple times and every time i got thick ass resin globs that ive never seen before under an hps or cfls

It depends on your type of plant. If it is a sativa dominant plant, most pull when 80% of trichs are cloudy. If it is an indica plant, you would want more amber coloring for that couch lock buzz.

Well i grew them under a 250 w hps mostly but read somewhere that some white light would make them better at last stage so I had a 125W White spectrum cfl growlight as extra.. But that thing popped out when i put a 250 W dual CFL as partner for my 250W hps.. found anoother one too a wery skinny one but just as tall :)

btw anyone know if the taller diesel ryders are more sativa dominant and the shorter ones indica dominant?

that's just nuts. well not nuts apparently...... just donkey dick I guess. This thread is aptly named, congrats.

IMO if you have been flushing for three weeks (depending on what week this is on since showing 1st hairs) go ahead and harvest!

Take down that super trich bud before it pushes all its goodness back into the calyx. those things are def as frosty as iv seen a diesel ryder and look pretty damn ready.
I think I speak for everyone here when I say that we want a smoke report on that TRICH (looks like a good sized bong rip lol)

I heard that actually the "stem" portion of the trichome is essentially pointless and is actually considered plant matter. REALLY good hash doesn't even the "stem" part in it. I think I remember reading that plants bred for making hash have short, bulbous trichomes. Still, I know this thread has nothing to do with that...so, nice plant, cool trich.
