Thanks it's a beautiful country but a lot of sitting around. One thing now is I have plants to watch, feel there's something missing when there are none to tend

Not really a lot too see at the moment. Unfortunately the germination rate was only 60
percent. The choice was limited to compensate have moved the duff ones about so the front plants can be grown bigger

Been out two a couple of places. But not that many
This place is called Domboshava it's a place of worship and treated as holy
The feeling of earthing out makes you feel your melding to the rock. Zoom in on the distance the house's which most have only recently got there look tiny compared

Not a lot happening yettwo pics showing a days growth.
More importantly the plant is now standing up.
This means the Phattening is not far away.
What is the Phattening.
Where the leaves come out at top of stem
This swells and it travels down the stem to the root
Will get Yaah some shots.
( Notice the Afrikaan accent creeping in) Yaah.

Not really. This is a test to see if the yield is higher with 3 different grow methods. The whole point of a scientific experiment is to control as many variables as possible and test one variable. Even something like having a fan closer to one setup can change the results.

Introducing phenotypic variance to a "grow-off" makes no sense. But the OP already has said that the government won't let them use clones.

It's certainly not perfect, but phenotypic and genetic variance is just that - a variable itself. Testing only a cultivar or two may only reveal a grow system most optimal for those specific cultivars, as compared to marijuana as a whole species. Not that I think that's really a significant or likely drawback. Regardless, if that bag of seeds he posted is representative of the number plants they'll be running then I'd say their sample size would be plenty large enough to account for that variance. Just like in any other properly designed human/animal trial that doesn't rely on 100% genetically matched participants :mrgreen:
