Worms!!

I'm not sure really, I just thought the worm poo would be good for the plants? and the worms would turn the coco over and wriggle around in it which might help with aeration?
Might work, for those reasons, but if you're using synthetic nutes, you're not giving the worms anything to eat. They'll have to start consuming the coco. Im not sure if that would sustain them. You may end up with a bunch of dead worms. Lol

One way or another they will start eating whatever organic matter is available (your coco) there is a high probability the salt contents from your nutrients will poison them, if not your coco will simple slowly be converted to warm castings

It works great. My flower room bed and anything older than a seedling in veg has worms in it. All my veg plants are in one or two gallon pots pitting inside black totes full of soil to catch run off and stay active while waiting to be used. Every time I lift the pots there’s at least 5 or 6 worms under any drainage holes that are in contact with the soil. They drink the runoff but it seems like they are content feeding on root exudates as well because even when the soil in the pots are bone dry they are still gathering near the roots of the plant. They seem to be multiplying just fine without any additional food or mulch. The worms love it and so do the plants.
