Way back in my younger days I had a heck of a good lawyer. He told me if I ever had to transport ANYTHING questionable to box it up tape the crap out of it wrap it in brown paper tape the heck out of it and address it TO HIM have stamps on it to mail.. then wrap it again and address it again. and have stamps on that. IT is a federal offence to open stamped and addressed mail. he said if I ever got in trouble say I found it didn't know what to do so was sending it to him to care for properly. by having it wrapped and stamped 2 times it would be impossible for anyone to say opps I dropped it and it cracked open. ya I may have to pay My lawyer to keep my butt from getting into trouble. but that would cost a WHOLE lot less then the alternative. best advice tho. never have anything questionable with you.

wow that is one HELL of a lawyer i wish i could find me one of those i bet hes a good enough lawyer to be able to pay off the right people for you as well

no need to pay off.
That is federal mail... addressed to a lawyer.... it is no longer My property.
and they would have to let to go to his office get a spina. and being a lawyer it is his job to care for things in a proper manor. where by I need no involvement. {thats the sweetheart part of the deal.} if they open it THEY have committed a FEDERAL offence.
BUT make sure you have proper postage. and wrap the heck out of it.

o and by the way I found him cuz I was hit by a car. hit and run. jerk left 32 feet worth the skid marks after he hit me. I was in a cross walk that said walk. was in the 4th lane when YOUCHieWowwie...... and yes I got the licence of the car that hit me. as I was flying like superman back accross the road.

man thats sucks hardcore but so i guess you lucked out mopst lawyers wouldnt sdhare a tidbit of info like that and i know you had no need to pay off but i been giving alot of thought as to g hoow to go about finding a lawyer who could do payoffs if you ever neded it

I mean think about it. would you want to go into a police station with a couple oz's and say I found this. and I don't know what to do. If I dumped it in the trash some kid could find it. if I tried to burn it it couldn't it harm me?? if I buried it couldn't it grow??
I thought it best to send it to a professional. one who is trusted and trained in how to handle a situation like this. Obviously ITS wrapped and stamped. Obviously Im not dipping into it for my own personal use. I am a law abiding tax paying citizen trying to do the best I can in a situation I am totaly unfamiliar. SO I AM sending it to MY lawyer.

im not talking bout a couple oz im just curious in general of if someone wantds to pay off the police or a politician or whatever how would they go baout it i know you need a laweyer to do these kida things but im wondering how you find a lawyer with those kinda connectioin i bet the way is to call around and find the most expensive lawyer in town lol i dont need to do this myself either bhut its just a good thing to know how to do

If I had to do that....
I would make a point to visit our criminal justice system IN action. I would sit in court.
and that would be My interview. I would watch those fellers work. You can get a list of the days cases and pick and choose just like school classes. make notes. then make an appointment and have a free consolation. tell em you watched em in court. if you were to buy a car you test drive it. you look around and find the best you can. why shouldn't you do that with your life.

I just always held dearly the words from that man. but as I have said again and again the BEST advice is NEVER carry ANYTHING questionable. if YOU are forced to then best to have your brains turned on.

Although I am curious... If a dog alerted on the package... couldn't they take one in on 'probable cause' and get a warrant to search it?
Me thinks I'll vacuum seal the contents before putting them in the box so McBusyBody the pooch keeps his snout to himself
