Worried I have hermaphrodite plants....

I had a grow setup at my old place and I had about 5 or 6 plants going at once. 4 of them were females but two of them ended up being hermaphrodites. The females were already producing bud when one of the hermy sacs opened up and pollinated the females. I still got a lot of bud from them but there were seeds now too. And yes as soon as I realized I had hermys I got rid of them right away... Now I'm at my new place and trying to start up again and I have 3 seeds going from the females that were pollinated... So my question is this... Is there any good chance they could be female or will they more then likely just be more hermys...? I've tried to do a lot of research on the subject but I keep finding some different answers.....

Thanks for all the links I very much appreciate it. I do still have questions though... I've read several times about people just being very careful and cutting all the sacs and banana leaves off so that no pollen can be released(That's if the plant is a hermie..). As long as no pollen is released no seeds will form in the bud correct? And if you clone the plant and keep cutting the sacs off will the strain ever "learn or adapt" i guess you could say and maybe just produce bud eventually and no sacs or anything?

And even though those links did provide me with a lot of information I'm honestly still not sure if I should continue with these seeds or just get rid of them. Half the people say just get rid of it, it's not worth the risk, most seeds from my situation would turn out hermie.....
While the other half I read says theres still a very good chance they are females, if you're very careful and observant you can catch the sacs before they open, and i've even read that some hermies have been known to produce some of the best bud because their "survivors" and have stronger genetics in order to live...

That would all depend on your access to better seeds. If they are all you have to work with right now, go with it and keep your eyes on them. If I personally were just plain stuck with those seeds, I would grow as many as I could safely grow, and start narrowing down the crop to the ones with the least problems. You could end up with a few with no problems, but you will have to be vigilant all the way through flowering too.

Another thing to add would be to take a clone from each one before you flower or after you sex them. Make sure you label your clones so that when you pick out the favorable mothers, you can ditch everything but those and her clones. Sounds like a lot of work, but you could also get lucky.

Edit: And if you have one plant that completes the whole cycle with no nuts or bananas, just clone the piss out of her clone and ditch anything that has male tendencies.

your seeds are not doomed to be hermies, maybe an increased risk, but that's a risk with all seeds, you never know for sure until they're grown
my current fool seed looks pure femme, more pure femmes than not so far
for free seeds, i'm good with the results

Hey, what you have is a monceious expression of a dioecious plant...Simply stated male pods will sometimes appear late in flower on plants sexed as female...If you pay attention to your plants and know what you are looking at (this is not complicated) you can remove the male pods early enough to keep them from pollinating and they will not usually re-appear after removal...Newer hybrid plants from breeders are not selectively bred long enough to produce stable offspring so the latest high test souper-dooper plant you are growing is in effect a "mutt" and and will need grooming attention...Does not mean anything is "wrong" with it. Means that there will be different phenotypes (again not complicated) and different growth characteristics...You will learn from dealing with them...Cannabis horticulture is not hard once you have a little knowledge and the experience of a couple of grows...Don't give up...Even crops you grow with s33ds will be better than what you buy on the street...FWIW

Thanks everyone for the advice and all the help. I think I'm just gonna let them grow out, keep a very close watch on them and just take the sacs and banana leaves off carefully. Once I saw them in my first grow I did a lot of research so I know exactly what I'm looking for and I'm curious if I can get any good bud from some hermies. I was thinking about taking some clones from them, putting them in a separate area and switch the light cycle on them early once they grow roots to see if in fact they are hermies or fems.. But seems like kind of a waste of time and plus wouldn't cutting some branches off cause a lot of extra stress on the plants which might turn them hermie if they weren't already...?

I'm pretty sure I already know the answer to this question but I just wanted to make sure. If any of my plants turn out to be hermies can they develop sacs before I switch the light cycle to bloom or will they not start to develop anything until I do? I don't believe they will develop anything until I do the switch but still just wanna make sure when to really start looking them over.
