I have 11 plants in 48 days flower. One of them had 3 or 4 nanners pop out of the dense bud last week and I plucked them. I've been keeping a really close eye and since have plucked maybe 3 or 4 more. They were still hard and yellow and don't think they have had time to release pollen by the time I found them. The strain is Critical Kush.
I've been misting the plants lightly every other night or so and the walls of the tent with water trying to control any loose pollen (IN CASE) any has been released. If it were all the same strain then I wouldnt be concerned considering by the time I harvest it wouldnt really have time to produce fully developed seeds.
I'm mainly worried about my sativas, they still have about 3-4 weeks to go. I have 3 critical plus that are almost ready to chop in the next 2-5 days. The Critical Kush looks like it will take a bit longer, especially the og pheno which is not (the hermie). The CK that has produced nanners under examination has almost all cloudy trichomes a few amber here and there on the very top main colas, and very few clear. About 40% red hairs and 60% white.
What should I do about this? I'm paranoid, I do not want my Killing fields and SLH to be seedy. I dissected multiple calyxes and have found them all to contain a tiny little green ball bout the size of a grain of table salt which im almost positive that are just ovules, as ive seen ovules in my previous grows but did not turn out to be seeds. Some strains have a bigger grain, some smaller but they aren't progressing in size since 10-11 days ago.
Should I chop her or let it go and try and control it? I can deal with a "few" seeds here and there but not enough for it to be a nuisance. Not sure if being this far along in flower could produce many seeds or not? Never been into breeding and dont have much experience with that. But then again, I worry for my sat doms!
Please help, I need to make a decision very soon to put me at ease lol. Sorry for the long post but I am just trying to specific as possible to narrow down a solution.
