Worst about harvesting too late

I dont wanna jump the gun but I cant decide whether or not to harvest this sativa i have. the fan leaves are all dead, and there are other indicators that it is ready to harvest, but the trichomes havent really changed much in color. Could it just be the strain? Whats the worst that will happen if I wait too long? Help please somebody:?:

I've never seen it go too long. Sounds like grower error to me. Pure Sativas can be very difficult for beginners. I would let it go longer.

Thanks, thats helpful. I read that if the trichomes become cloudy as opposed to amber, it can still be ready. Is there any truth to that? I dont wanna rush this. Anyone else have some input?

Its been flowering quite a while (longer than anything I have ever grown) cause its sativa. I really feel like its ready, but its just so cloudy...what should I do? Would it diminish the quality if I wait too long to see if it changes color? And the fan leaves are like totally dead. I cant decide what to do. Sorry no pics.

Going "too long" if there is such a thing won't hurt your smoke a bit.

Most of the flavor, potency and smoothness comes on the back side of flowering, or the last 2 weeks.

Most people harvest way to early and then complain that their weeds has no flavor or punch.

Especially sativas! Let her go long. 14 to 16 wees maybe.

Exactly why I stay away from pure Sativas. They can take forever. 12-14 is very common. How long has it been flowering for exactly. As been stated, pics will bring more acurate answers.
