when I said door gaskets I meant weather stripping. Sorry about that. I use one on the door, and another around the edge of the door frame. I also replace them at the first sign of wear. For the insulation you can just use styrofoam panels that come in 4' x 8' sheets. They start at 1/2" thick and go up to around 2" thick. I just used some white half inch and then panda filmed over that, and it cut my noise down signifigantly. I also insulated the inside of my door with egg crate to help break up any sound bouncing off of a hard surface. I would suggest buying Gorilla Brand tape for your project. It is about $8 or $10 a roll, but once you use it you will never buy duct tape again. It is the best tape that I have ever used for any project. It is very versatile. I have used it to tape panda film down to concrete. Nothing sticks to concrete, but this shit stuck just fine. Sounds like you are going in the right direction. Now you just have to get in there and build it out, and fuck up a few plants. I say this because that is the best way to learn. You can read all day online and in books but nothing beats experience. Once you see a nute deficiancy in person you will recognize it for the rest of your life. The same goes with everything else. Just remember to have fun with it. Because what's the point if you are not.
