Would anyone ever consider buying a grinder that plays music as you grind?

Just an idea me and my friends had. You could like load your own songs onto it as it would have a USB stick bit. Song gets activated after a few full grinds and plays.
I'm convinced I can make some money haha.

wellllllll it is kinda cool lol but it doesnt take that long to grind up a few bowls, it probably wouldnt even finish playing a song..... ad if it were to play the whole thing or more than one..... why wouldnt we just leave our computer on slacker radio? :joint:

i would find it annoying. like those jewelry boxes or snow globes. i always want to smash those things. plus you only use a grinder for about 30 seconds at a time max. seems like a lot of fuss. i think the novelty would wear off pretty quickly. maybe if it was inexpensive but i don't see how it could be.

1) It would have to sound better than the robot mosquito chorus playing covers ... that the typical miniature audio system excretes.
2) The expense involved in prototyping and making market test units is steep. In a way this might be good news ... you can't afford to commit to making a load of merchandise that is too expensive to sell at anything like breakeven.
0) Go analog ... put a radially-built music box, the mechanical kind with the "harp" made of stepped steel pegs, that'll play a phrase of music powered by the act of turning the grinder. No batteries!!

I use an electric grinder. I'm a lazy twat.

That said, I don't know anyone besides myself that uses a grinder at all.

But I do think it's clever.

The little screw magnetic screw holding the lid on always breaks...I've went thru 3 grinders in 2 years...they still work, they just fall apart...maybe my buds are just that good:-P, no grinder can withstand their sticky icky ness.

Yeah, see if your buds can survive my Hamilton Beach 12 speed electric coffee grinder. :P

It may work on a hand grinder like a manual grinder because they take longer.
An electric grinder would grind too fast for music.

have like a ridiculous jingle player made into the grinder,it would have to be something funny, but songs and music probly wont work as well because of the little amount of time it takes for grinding bud

it's all about distribution. if u can get it n front of emough ppl, u can sell it, long as price margins r good. hav 2 make 50%, so ur prod. cost would hav 2 b 1/4 what retail is.

seems like anything sells now days.
