Would it be better to scrog in soil or try a waterfarm?

I will be starting a 1 plant scrog soon. I will be using a 400 watt mh/hps light. I will be growing indoors in a 36x20x63 tent. Should I just stick with soil or try a waterfarm system. I was just curious on what your thought would be.

personally id just recommend soil, its easy. just make sure you can check your run off. My first big learning curve was checking run off, once I got this down, my plants are so much healthier.

If the water farm will be your only plant growing I would say stick to soil. If you wanted to do a side by side I would say go for it. Reason being if the water farm fails your stuck at square 1 no MJ and your pissed. If you grow side by side you can actively compare the positives and the negatives and the odds are with you that you will still have one plant in the event of a failure. Also do your research!

I'd say stick to soil if thats were you feel more comfertable but trying a new method is always fun also, im jn the process of trying deep water culture so if you do decide to go with hydro make sure you have a ph and ec reader those are a necessity for that and maybe even some type of water chiller unless you will be around your grow alot to refill your reservoir with cool water never want warm water. Good luck and peace and love
