would rain drown my plant?

would the water be all over my pot its still a seedling not a plant yet still growing would it drown if it rains tonight?

if you have proper drainage in your pots and the water does not drownd your plant and its not directly in the rain you might be fine. but why not just cover it for the night

can i cover it wit like a box or someting?
and ya my pot has drainage thats the thing on the bottom wit holes rite?

its planted in pot , and it has big drainage holes not small ones, im just scared because there still seedlings i planted it today after germination i just wanna c if it would be ok... so ya and ya i put it under like a tree so its half half covered there are some open spots from tree top so rain can come but ya

What area of the country or world do you live in? If it's a downpour they might get soggy for a bit but should drain. Otherwise a drizzle, like what we get in Nevada usually in the winter months should be quite fine.

so. california , and ya the other day it was raining hard , but ya its usually a soft rain noting big but idk if it will get hard cuz ill be sleeping so ya hopefuly
