Hi! I am thinking of ordering 20x regular seeds Afghani Special (KC Brains) from Sea of Seeds. Along with that comes a few free assorted seeds. I don't have a large budget to work with right now but would like to have a decent harvest from the grow. Would this be a good starting point for me? Any help or advice would be loved!

Pray for girls that's all and you will have an awesome harvest as long as you have the means to grow that many(lights, space, air, etc) Good Luck my friend

I have been researching and questioning my selection of seeds for awhile now & from your replies I guess I made a good choice?

If it were me, I would focus on feminized seeds....you're rolling the dice that you'll get at least 10 females...but that doesn't always happen. I grew out 5 regs and got 2 females....so at that rate you'll get 8 females. If that's all good for you, then by all means go for it. I personally prefer knowing I'll get 10 female plants out of 10 seeds.

Welcome to growing, and to RIU :)

If you're on a budget and want to maximize the possibility of success of your first seed order, I'd recommend starting with four seeds on your first grow. Chances are you'll end up with two females from that (or probability, at least one), and you can go with just that on your first run through.

If you mess it up, you still have a bunch of seeds left to start again after learning your mistake.

Each to their own though... either way, happy growing!

I have taken into consideration everything you guys have told me.
I will go with the stealth shipping! (I was debating that one)
I won't be germinating them all at once.
I do understand about the female/males feminised etc...
On the other hand 20 x regular seeds of this strain will be ~$40 plus shipping & come with 5 free (3feminzed)
And I do like a gamble/surprise ...

If you want a rocket and you have the money for the rocket THEN GO BUY THE FAKIN ROCKET. How many seeds are you going to germinate? If you need any advice or ideas on how to build your setup you can always check the DIY section under the General Forum. You would be amazed by the things some ppl can create. When it comes to growing weed you will find many regular peeps suddenly becoming engineers/botanists/chemists/doctors you name it. Cheers and post pics whenever you can! A picture worths more than all the words and describing you can give. Cheers!

Depending on where in the world you are, customs delays etc, it can take up to (around) a month for your delivery, so best get prepared before then.

By about week two, *Paranoia* will be your *friend*, but when it arrives, *do not* share the packing method online, no matter how tempting or happy OR relieved you might be: Authorities traul the forums as well as honest gardeners, and the less the Authorities know about stealth packing-methods, the better.

I would be very interested in purchasing a FAKIN ROCKET. I have heard that they are the best and I want high quality in a ROCKET. I have researched them on the googlenet machine and can't find them.
