Would UFO led lighting work for a 1 plant waterfarm scrog?

Hey everyone. Ok I am about to start my 1 plant waterfarm scrog grow inside a 36x20x63 tent. All I need now is the lighting. I was wanting to know if 1 90 watt ufo led be good enough to start my grow, then add another 90 watt ufo light when flowering starts or should I just stick with the 400 watt mh/hps light?

I love LEDs! In that size tent though, I would stay with the four hundred. I have a grow box that is 24x24x48 with 2 90w UFO's and in my opinion it's just enough.

If you want to do LED, one Area-51 RW-150 would be good for that space. 30w/sq ft. You might supplement in flower with 3-4 Cree 60w equiv (9w actual) lightbulbs from Home Depot to get it up to 35-37w/sq ft.

This will be far more light than two 90w UFOs because A51 uses more efficient diodes.

i used a 180w led and got super compact bushy plants. how many actual wayts does a 90w pull? the 180 only pulls 100+/-

I use LED but, they have more watts than 90. They work fine but, LED actual watts are usually less than what they are advertised. But, they have very little heat depending on the wattage. I love em. I am however thinking about trying a 150 watt HPS. Maybe use LED or CFL to supplement.

I used to do a single plant with a 135 watt ufo, and cfl side light. Like you said you should bring in a second 90 watt to really get your flowering going.
