The more sugar leaves you leave on, the harsher the smoke will be. Test it out and see if you notice the difference.
Also, FYI - In post #10 above, the live plant picture on the left still has plenty of white hairs. If you waited another 2 - 3 weeks for those hairs to darken and recede, you'd have a more mature plant with fatter buds. As long as you have lots of white hairs on your buds, checking trichomes isn't necessary and is frankly a waste of time. Once the white hairs recede, then you should check the trichomes.
