I got bit by a jumping spider once, and it put me in bed for 3 days - I was very very sick. I was told I have an extreme reaction to spider venom, like a serious allergy, and that a spider that would make someone else sick would kill me. So while you guys worry about Black Widows or Recluses, I'm worried about ALL of them ALL the time.

I suffer no spiders in my environment, bad for my health. Kill the bastard for the good of the world, even if you have to torch the tree.

...is it like that with bee stings too, or just spiders? cuz I got kinda sick from a spider bite in Florida, But I didn't see what kind of spider...then a few years later I got the same symtoms from a wasp or hornet of some kind...again, I didn't get a good look at it...but I was just as sick.

I dunno, if the web is high and it's a non-aggressive, not-seriously gonna bite you type spider..maybe it's doing some good? They do eat a lot of pests.
