WOW LSD Changed color and gained stripes!!! Someone explain

we have no clue what happened. Possibly oxidation? All paper came pure clean white and over time it has developed this zebra stripe pattern. Has anyone ever heard of or seen this before? We're stumped other than guessing oxidation. The L is hit or miss at this point now. It was absolutely breath taking from one dose, still can be...or you eat 5 and you feel like you about to break and it never happens.


So guys...any thoughts???

Could be from temperature, moisture, oxygen or light, how do you store it?

I've had some acid get streaks on it from leaving it in a warm bag but haven't seen it happen to that degree

thanks for all the input guys!!! has been stored cautiously, haven't done anything different than normal!!! always have a decent amount around for many years, and this is the first time ever.

jay5coat, disappearing ink? seriously? i have been around the ballgame for awhile and never heard of this, can you expand on your statement of disappearing ink?

When the LSD was laid down on the paper, compounds in the paper or the LSD mixture probably did paper chromatography along the solvent front. That's why the colored areas look like bands. After it aged a while, the compounds oxidized and became visible.

Looks like pencil markings to mark each hit. Same way I marked my white on white....did you look at both sides when you bought it?

out of about 25 hits nothing, just kinda felt like it was there but it wasn't ever going to break! kinda talked some trash about it to my buddy, he gave me two to try of something that was completely brown, it was white on white, but it had literally turned brow, like a white-ish brown. said that all if it was laid with potato moonshine instead of the regular i guess, and it leaves that behind. the two hits had me twisted. but, i would have waited for ever clear, it just seems to me to eventually degrade to nothing special, it was soo soo good when it was fresh, breath taking. well....damn
