WTB Dislike Button & a Douchebag Bar (like the rep bar)

Title says it all, i can't tell you how many time i see people either giving out bad info, or just trolling the forums ragging on everyone looking for someone to argue with.

It's not easy to call them out then and there because thats exactly what they are looking for,... someone to argue with and then you just ruined the thread and became part of the problem. It would be great to just give them some Neg-Rep so others could start to see who not to bother with,.... even with a conversation lol.

this is for shits and giggles, its 9 am and i got 7 more hours of work ahead of me =(.

How'd that turn out for you? I've been wanting to make some for a while myself but I'm waiting till next harvest.

turned out better than I expected. I couldn't find any really fine mesh screen so i had to use like window sized and use 3 layers, still got a little plant matter and the oil is not totally clear but I was surprised by the amount a little trim made. I wasn't weighing it but i used the Bed, Bath & Beyond turkey baster and 3 cans on 5.5oz butane (i think) to do 3 runs (packed the baster 3 times) and got a nice little quarter sized puddle and about 3 times as thick as a quarter. =)

I agree. There is so much misinformation or just plain wrong information given out, mostly by newbies trying to sound smart. There has been some outright stupid stuff coming from some so called "Vets" too.
If it doesn't come from your own hands on experience, or at least the experience you have personally observed from others, don't post something just to try and sound smarter than the poor slob you are screwing.
Evidently, not a lot of people are able to separate fact from fiction by asking themselves if something has a ring of being based in science or voo doo.

I totally agree with you. You have no idea how much I actually agree with you on this as a matter of fact.

There are a TON of little trouble-makers around RIU. I won't mention any particular names.. they know who they are. It's just a shame that we can't even come onto the internet these days.. without having to worry about bullies and trouble-makers (90% of the time its little kids doing it - the other 10% comes from immature adults that had no guidance when they were younger and therefore don't know how to act) coming online JUST so they can start some lame 'fight' or argument online.

But, you have to be the better person and do your best to ignore those types of users. If this were my site?? I'd have it setup to where ONLY people of age (21 or older) could become a member. There are ways to do this.. you just have to find them.

Until RIU does something like that.. to 'weed' out the spammers, kids, trouble-makers, etc... we will continue to see these types of users entering the site. It's unfortunate, but it is what it is for now.

The best thing you can do with those types of users.. is just put them on your ignore list. Best thing you can do.

I think most of us have felt this way at some time or another. They actually used to have neg-rep for elites and mods. The problem is that there were a few people who were going around neg-repping people for no good reason. You wanna see someone throw an epic e-tantrum? Just toss them a little neg-rep and sit back and watch the show! lol! Seriously though, it caused more problems than it solved. I don't think neg-rep is coming back.

As far as BHO goes i really thought it would be more complicated..... but it wasn't. my last few grows i tried to use the trim to make pot butter..... and it was very disappointing...... very.... lol but at least the BHO is usable and smokes great. i didn't have a vac to purge it with so i just used a pin to stir it around it works great to add to your first smoke of the night to set that initial bar high and then ride it the rest of the evening.

unfortunately, it's those same folks who would abuse a neg/rep or douchenozzle system......

I think it stands a better chance of working nowadays since rep is automatically signed............you can't leave anonymous rep anymore, but people would still get butthurt even if they got a deserved neg-rep and it just caused all sorts of unnecessary drama. I feel you though.

woo...I got scared,I thought I was ganna see my name here for being a smartass sometimes....but I agree, many many times I would of -rep a troll, I hate when a good thread gets ruined

AHHHH i just noticed your location and I LOVE IT!

it's 6:20, i've been up for almost 2 hours, i woke up with a tiny foot in my eye and a toddler who had sleep-diarrhea (yay -- think of where that puts my face in relation to poo) and now i'm trying not to listen to @#$%*!! 'caillou'.

but i have coffee and fingerhash so life is grand.
