One that I can actually hear multiple times that doesn't sound like a whiny white voice is this.

The beat is great when I'm baked it sounds amazing in my car. It's a lot more relaxed than most of his songs, and less, I dunno... goofy?

I'm not trying to prove you wrong man. I'm just very open minded to a LOT of music, and I try to spread it around that even the artists you don't like may have a hidden gem.
I guess I don't get it. I can't identify with him / most rappers. I have heard some wonderfully moving rap / hip hop; but for the most part I am not a fan of commercial rap / hip hop.

I like lyrics most in music - but I also appreciate emotion and honesty. I love stories that are painted with music for the sake of telling a story; not making a buck. I find A LOT of mainstream artists disingenuous - whether it be their lyrics, style, wardrobe, what they say - it is processed to fit into a box and it is a turnoff.

Spewing hate about your wife about how vile she is on record and then getting back with her multiple times is disingenuous.

Spewing hate about your worthless mother and then repeating her same mistakes and creating the same environment that you so vehemently loathe is disingenuous.

By all means I agree completely and enjoy the same kind of music. I listened to Em's old shit when I was a kid, before I really understood what was going on. I never listen to him nowadays except SOMETIMES I play that one song when I'm baked. It's a great beat I think.

like i said, "you can't prove an opinion". so stop asking us to prove things. then i won't discount you. hello?

I said prove me wrong. I am open-minded. If someone linked something that was decent it could possibly change my mind.

"Prove me wrong" is an invitation to challenge me. If you knew the definition of the word you were trying to so narrowly define it would help you to understand a lot more. Prove - 3. to give demonstration of by action.

I know you are complex enough of a man to understand the nuance of that concept.

BTW - By definition you can prove an opinion. In other words you can show others why you feel a way.

"prove me wrong" implies that you are RIGHT. How can one opinion be more right than another?

you said "he's talentless, prove me wrong".
you should prove your point first. you haven't.

it's your "OPINION", that's all i'm saying.

You read what I just wrote and that is the best you can do.

Prove me wrong is the same thing as saying show me I am wrong. So far I have not seen any real talent come from Em. If you show me his best work in your opinion and I still think it lacks talent; then we can agree to disagree.

But telling me I am wrong for not seeing his talent when you have no idea of my knowledge of his body of work is ignorant on everyone's part. Record sales, awards, bank accounts do not define my measure of talent.

Art is subjective. Music is art. Someone can see perfection in something; while another sees a steaming pile of shit. Em is that steaming pile of shit to me.

Outside of hard facts everything is an opinion. ESPECIALLY ART!!!

I have attached a link to one of his pieces of "art." That is my evidence that he has no talent.

His lyrics blow, his music will not stand the test of time, there is nothing artistic talking shit about people.

What are his themes?
What are his emotions?
What is he trying to say?

He just rambles and hopes it sounds good enough to sell.

he is so old but still so damn good. Crack a Bottle was the fastest song to reach #1 on the charts in history. He's so popular in Detroit, all the rock stations even play his stuff.
