WTF happened to this clone?

Some others are looking the same way but not as severe. I am suspicious this is CFL burn but not sure. I feel like I am not very good with clones, I have been feeding them every other day but just now cutting back because of this weird developments.

When I cut clones I soak the cubes in a solution of ph'd water, clone-x liquid solution, and orca. I dip the clone in clone-x gel and put it into the soaked cube. Then the cube goes into the tray with a plastic insert that has spots for all the cubes and I fill the tray with the same solution I dipped the cubes in so that the water level is just touching the bottom of all the cubes. Then I put a humidity dome over the tray and duct tape it shut. I keep the tray at 80 degrees and under 18/6 light. Most strains will have a good root system in 10 days. Ive been doing it this way for a long time and normally get 100% success. I might lose 1 or 2 out of every few hundred. All you need is a very minimal nutrient solution, the one i described above works great until the are rooted.

Well if you dont want to lose any out of hundreds try this.

Soak the cubes in blocks of four or six with the ph solution. Then put them in the holders and dip the clones and stuff em in. Nothing added to the water besides ph solution. Clonex only on the cut ends.
Dont tape the lid down, leave it on so you get the slightest bit of accidental air movement because none of the lids ever hold out ALL the air. Lightly spray the cuttings for the first few days and then when the cubes start drying out spray them a little too, twice a day, 12 hrs apart. Aaand keep the lights on 24/7.
Day ten you should be able to start cracking the dome and breaking them to the air.
Havent lost one in hundreds, even with full 78 site trays.

Thats a lot more work than I have to do. Id rather loose 1 or 2 out of hundreds and just do it the way i have been, set it and forget it. Don't have to spray or add water or anything. I tape the lid down so the humidity stays as high as it can, the dome has vents on it to open up every couple day to let fresh air in. I like 18/6 so that they are use to a regular light schedule from the start. Ive done it a million different ways over the years and this way I do it now is the highest success rate and the least amount of work. Spraying twice a day is a lot to save 2 clones out of hundreds, especially when you have clones rooting constantly and a lot of other work to do.
