Assuming this is real, it could be "pulling a whitey" (http://www.google.com/search?q=weed+whitey). How much did you smoke with her?
I get a minor issue sometimes by smoking. My blood pressure will get low (not dangerous or anything like that) and my circulation will slow down getting me a little chilly. I assume this is because of my general low blood pressure and the calming effects of weed. It doesn't do anything more than make me a little chilly, only once when I ate a full and lot more potent then I expected pot brownie, I started getting paranoid over being cold outside when it was like 86. Thinking something was wrong we me and starting wiggin out. Took me about 15/20min (or what felt like 15/20min) to focus on something else and I was good.
Could have been a whitey, or if she never smoked before, could just be paranoia making her queasy. My wife gets like that, she starts freaking out mainly from the paranoia. She can't smoke from a bong, its a pipe or joint otherwise she's freaking.

When smoking with someone for the first time...it is probably a good idea to just give them a small toke...it would probably also be a good idea to know something about what you are giving your own mother...like knowing the effects, and it's lack of toxicity...it is then probably a good idea to not freak out and act like a weenie, freaking out your mom even more.
As for the girl who gets cold, there is something known as narcotic induced hypothermia...LSD does this.

I once started a thread about hemp farming destroying outdoor sensimilla crops and I got the same responces. Funny, not one of them had a clue of what I was talking about. Everyone is different. We all process chemicals differently, and that is why medicine is now moving toward drugs tailored to the individual, rather than the broad spectrum dosages that have been common as long as medicine has been around.
Your mom might be ultra-sensitive to the THC, or there may be something in the leaves unrelated to the high which could affect her.
If I smoke from a joint or a pipe my sinuses block instantly and my throat tightens up. I have to breathe twice as hard. And no, it's not from being high
I've tested it with just the tiniest drag, and it still happens, even from second hand smoke sometimes. Inhaled from a vaporizer, it doesn't have that effect at all.
It could be the blood pressure, as noted, or it could be other factors. One of my old roommates turned grey, and and pretty much keeled over after one drag of hash. His skin was cold and clammy, but his breathing and heartbeat were okay, otherwise we'd have carted him off for assistance. Apparently it had happened before, unbeknownst to us, but he hoped it was just a one-off.
People will throw around "It's natural, so it's harmless." when talking about pot and other things. But you don't see those people scarfing down random mushrooms in the forest, or eating foxglove.

Ok guys...while it is great that the bleeding hearts come one here and come to the rescue of a seemingly naiive do-gooder...shaking their motherly finger at those who call the poor fellow retarded...after all, maybe he does live under a rock, and maybe his mother in all her years of wisdom tried pot without knowing anything about it...it could happen...right?
Well someone posted a pick about a troll, and a quick search of all posts by our poor little tard shows that he is just having a little bit of childish fun...probably at all those who try to give heartfelt advice at the pre-school level.
so lets take a look at his first post, shall we...oh wait this is not his first post...it was just a couple of days ago!!!! but it was his first time smoking after being a member here since July...I am going to go out on a limb here and...wait no...I won't call the people who stood up for this tool a mean word

But who buys seeds through the mail, lights through the mail, grows a flowering plant to near done, has the cops knock on the door...still keeps growing, then...finally...3 days later...smokes pot for the very first time
My guess is this is one of the ex-patriots that started a new board after being run off for chatting too much. the pics are staged or stolen and someone is getting a nice laugh at the silliness and lack of real expansion of growing knowledge...just children and fox news sheeple.

Ok so I just smoked White widow like an hour ago ... about a gram maybe more .
And I see everything slowlyyy now .
I felt like my spirit wanted to detach from my body if that makes sense .
Then I began laughing like i did not have a care for the world lol ... oh man oh man I wish someone recorded it .
But when I smoked it .. I felt very neasous .. and felt like throwing up .. and still do some what .
and now I feel sleepyyyy .
am i gonna die ?

Alright so The police was at my door asking if they could search my place for Drugs / Marijuana .. as they thought they smelled weed .
But U cant smell my white widow unless you in the same room .. The smell does not leave the room at all .. and trust me i got a good nose .
I also noticed a helicopter over my building yesterday ...
Anyways I told the officer I cant allow you in without a search warrant .. They were surprised that i actually seemed to know about the law and just left .

Personally, having been born in the show-me-state, I would find that to be dishonest, at least if it was not disclosed as such. Like someone who plays fantasy whatever claiming it is real.
