I have the feeling that those are the things in question. Look up "capitate trichome" images and decide. cn

Are you talking about trichomes? They don't just form on the bud but the base part of leaves as well.

Should i wipe em off before it spreads more?
Your best bet is to pick them off, one by one, with "Dumont" brand ophthalmic surgeon's tweezers with extreme care. If you handle them roughly or even "normally", a couple might explode like touch-me-not pods and then you have trichome spores all over the place. They're viciously infectious and long-lasting, and a single viable one could whip through your entire crop like wildfire.
I have trained ants for this duty, but teaching you how to train'em would require a book-length post. cn

dude they are trichomes!! I can tell by the way you are discribing them If they were spidermite they would be mostly underneath the leaves and your plant would die back quite quick also. Take a magnify glass, but what you are discribing to us sounds like trichomes and thats where alot of the thc comes from.

peace

Looks like a serious infestation there. I recommend vigorously spraying with oil. cn

You may be on to something.. but I still think that they are an infestation covering the plant - if not spider mites, then maybe Ghost Beetles.

They are the fruiting bodies of a viciously symbiotic fungoid. They have immediately apparent effects on those brave enough to smoke the affected produce. It's ... one of Nature's really remarkable things. I realize that removing them from my stash is wickedly labor-intensive, but would you smoke sick nugs?? cn
