It is every reason to look into bud washes. I hear Dr. Zymes is great for the task.
I clipped some early rot yesterday. I’ll be doing a thorough wash when they are done, as well as keeping my eye on them.

This works? I’m surprised, I’ve had aphid problems outdoors. The rain didn’t do anything. Is there a technique? They don’t seem to be bothered by water where I live, unless you’re talking about pressure spraying during veg? Thank you

Outdoors a hose with the proper nozzle. You can use a hand pump sprayer as well. Those have enough water pressure to spray them off. It works. I've been taking care of aphids that way for decades on many different kinds of plants The rain won't wash them off.
I also wanted to point out that just killing them with some kind of insecticide just leaves dead bugs behind and you'll need to wash them off anyway.

Ya was aphids, didn’t see it till today.
I threw the entire top cola into the compost, fuck that ratchet shit! I got plenty more plants to make up for it.

This never gets mentioned enough with bugs. I have random bugs and debris from outdoor growing on them anyway. Can I just hose it all off off? New grower here.

Yeah I’m not going to fiddle around with tweezers and washes etc. if anything it allowed me to see inner growth (pistils inside the bud). Was going to chop tomorrow so now I’m going to wait a week.

Many people do a bud wash with outdoor plants using H2O2 in the first wash and then rinsed in plain water. That's done in buckets.

No links but from what I've read in the past on this site most do 1 cup of H2O2 to 5 gallons of water. If all you're trying to do is remove debris, dust, etc... then plain water is going to be sufficient.
You can do a google search for "bud washing after harvest" and find more information than you probably want to deal with. Much of it different. I've never used more than just plain water to rinse out debris that falls from the trees. I just swish the branches around gently to remove most of the debris. I doubt it's possible to get it all.
