WTF is up with this new growth

Ok so one of my plants is growing weird.

Each new node is about a half inch above the one thats sapose to be right next to it??

Could it be because of the mylar and cooltube that i have confusing the plant and growing it all off?

If you have an answer + rep.:hug:
 
I can't tell from the pic but when a plant matures the branches start being staggered. Is there any way that is the problem
 
cant tell by that picture but close nodes or what you are describing is good or I should say not necessarily bad.Dont worry.
 
When the branch grow is no longer symmetrical it is a sign it is matured. You are most likely be growing your plant from seed and seen all the branches creates 2 nodes at the same point at the seedling stage, this is normal and nothing to worry about.

PS: Picture taken from a camera phone is shitty.
