wtf male pod with female parts coming out when it opens

I can't believe there was even a discussion weather it not this is a fuching hermie....man if u don't want seed don't leave a hermie around ur girls....that's a hermie...I'm not bitchin at u either bub it's all the ppl that tell ppl dumb shit and then they take that word as gold...

Youll exscuse me for pointing out that your second picture seems to show a plant much futher along in the flowering process than your original picture.

A few male flowers on an otherwise female bud is no big deal and im sure if you get better at growing this strain you will experience less of a problem over time. This is pretty much my experience with fem seed too and i hardly see it these days.

I wrote a thread a few years back asking if one single male flower on a female that yeilds 5oz makes it a hermie or not.

More to the point though, is this common in your grows? Is it just one or a few plants?

Most of the threads showing this come from newer growers, its kind of to be expected and not somthing id blame seed bank breeders.

No ones said anything dumb here just growers giving some experience. Most weed has the ability to throw a male flower at the end of flowering and the sheer number of threads on it suggest that were all growing seed that has a slight herm trait.

New growers are always going to see this stuff from time to time, shouting hermie at their plants dosent help them understand the reasons behind it or that through natural selection in the wild mj found hermis very advantagous in the more stressfull years and so wrote it in to its genetic code. Probably why new growers see it a lot more.

The first pic was about a week old..in 12 12 wanted to watch it ..then I posted update pic wich is about 3 weeks going on 4 weeks flower.. I have 2 females and 1 hermi of the 818..got rid of another plant with the same ball sack shit going on when I noticed it..i also have two autos in the same room .like I said before my room hasn't changed and I haven't had this problem before figured it was the breeder after reading some of the cow shit in these forums lol . I glady will take more pics as the plant matures...and who knows maybe ill have some dank shit and be pissed I chucked the other plant lol

Some breeders like dj short report this slight herm trait in many of their strains, its quite common and not somthing that seems possible to completley breed out but somthing that seems less prone to happen in better conditions.

I understand its not desirable for you which leaves you a few choices, either try to find a strain that dosent show this trait much or keep working at things and see if the better you get the less it happens.

If you see it after changing strains and always plagued by it then refer back to this thread and what i and others have said about this hermie problem.

Many of us get the odd male flower and that leads to a few seed, not many, and really dont mind it. If every bud was heavily seeded id be pissed but a few seeds is a trivial problem and one im sure you can work through.

Dont fret or blame breeders for the odd male flower, hermi is quite a common thing not the evil plant destroyer some seem to think it is.

TBH I've never witnessed a so-called her, hermie (xy&xx).

But then I don't screw with my plants with odd chemicals.

Hermies can be because of stress ...traits...or sometimes they just fucking happen...like ppl said..u dot just get a hermie cause u use chem...I myself grow them out if I can take them to a place far away from my other plants...some of the best weed I have smoked was from a hermie...but if I have a hermie in the ground and other plants in the grouND around it..he/she's a gonner

That looks like a plant that just got polinated mid flower. Look around there might be a real culprit in the buch.
