WTF my seedling is moving infront of my eyes~!

ok some weird ass shit just happend to me i was outback in my closet checking out my seedlings , now im way to unpatient so i was digging around them to see if the had progressed lmao and i notice it had allready had the first 2 leaves under the soil (wtf)? so i touched the 2 leaves and they fell off then i notice this small like maggot looking thing comming out the bottom of the seedling i taped it and it retracted , just wondering is this my roots looking for moisture ? i didnt relize the could move like that it freaked me out

i dont really know what u r sayin but when my sprout came up the seed was still attached and when i took the seed off there was like clear film wrapped around my leaves when i removed the film the leaves popped out

:lol: Are you sure that wasnt some sort of bug? I am new to this as well, but I think roots usually grow down not up.. :hump:

ive been doing some research on bugs , it might of been a gnat in its lava stage , ima go check it out again and kill the fuck if it moves . wondering how it got in there in the first place must of came with the new soil i bought "those bastards" .

Dude you dont tap roots and then they automatically go down into their home like some animal. That was a bug you saw. roots just dont do that.

whenever you buy new soil always bake it. a lot of larvae and/or bugs come in soil.

couldnt find the little bastard he was long gone lol , i threw out the pot thats 1 plant down , hope theres no more in the other pots . bake it ey ? good idea , wonder why thats never in any of the grow guides.

Yea baking the soil will kill all those bugs and larvae that can't wait for roots and moist soil. I learned it from my mom but maybe they don't put it in grow guides cause they figure everyone should know to bake their soil but I myself wouldn't of known lol .
