WTF? Which is it?

On General Hydroponics website they are giving contradictory instructions.

On their chart it clearly tells you to use Koolbloom at half strength during transition from grow to bloom, full strength during bloom, and none at all during the "ripening" phase. http://www.generalhydroponics.com/calculator/index.html

Yet they tell you the exact opposite on their information/Q&A page about Koolbloom:

CAN I USE KOOLBLOOM AT ANY TIME DURING THE FLOWERING OR FRUITING CYCLE?
Answer: No, using too much KoolBloom will actually cause all blooms and possibly the plant to deteriorate and die. KoolBloom works on the premise that the plant is shocked into mass flowering. Shocking the plant too much will cause rotting and in extreme cases death.

WHEN IS KOOLBLOOM BEST USED? HOW MUCH?
Answer: KoolBloom can safely be used three to four weeks before the end of the plants life cycle.
It says "safely used 3 to 4 weeks BEFORE the end", as in it is NOT safe to use UNTIL then. If they meant it the other way, they would have said "use UNTIL 3 to 4 weeks before the end".

And again, here there are telling you to use it right from the start of flowering:

Liquid KoolBloom should be used at the start of the reproductive cycle initiating larger, heavier fruits and flowers.
So WTF is it?

A - use in the beginning
B - use at the end
C - use throughout flower
D - they need to get their shit straight
E - I need some sleep

They have their shit straight haha you're over thinking it (option E). Start using it during the transition... Stop using it 3-4 weeks before harvest. Done

The FAQ was worded :
CAN I USE MORE THAN THE RECOMENDED DOSE OF KOOLBLOOM AT ANY TIME DURING THE FLOWERING OR FRUITING CYCLE?
and they warned not to. I would imagine because the N-P-K ratios would get too out of whack .

The comment :
WHEN IS KOOLBLOOM BEST USED? HOW MUCH?
Answer: KoolBloom can safely be used three to four weeks before the end of the plants life cycle.
They have to word it generically, not MJ specific. Note the default value of the calculator says flowering is 4 weeks. The statement pertains to the standard vegetable growth pattern (think tomatoes) I think they would have worded it "Up To 3 to 4 weeks" if they did not want you to use it 3 to 4 weeks before harvest.
My interpretation of the statement would mean during flower. I mean that's what all the other manufacturers do is have one use the bloom enhancer throughout.

Also note that in drain-to-waste, they don't want you using ANY during "ripen" (I think that means the flush week)

As a side note: I called a hydro store and we talked about koolbloom (I was originally asking about floramato) He says that many of his customers use kool during the stretch, than stop, than use it exclusively the week before the flush !! Exclusively I mean as the sole nutrient!! Go figure.
