They're just starting to teach classes in school where kids learn different viewpoints in online news and social media. They're learning how to tell the difference between an ad and a review. I hope IRA bots are added to the curriculum.

For now, the internet is full of people who don't understand the difference between "research" and "algorithmic feeds".

I'd like to think it'll get better. The internet and its attendant mis/disinformation is entrenching tribalism for now. As long as we survive the learning curve, I do think it will improve.

In the meantime, my general advice is this: someone else is the hero of the story you're in, you are not some special person with access to information no one else has, and quit getting so worked up over something some random stranger says on the internet.

yes and the chance to have a lye explosion and go blind. if you dont know what your doing you have a better chance of doing damage to yourself or others.

What does that have to do with forum members being jerks? I obviously have made DMT. I didn't need a collective group of posters to guide me through the process.

nothing, its just not easier than growing a plant imo just cause its way more riskier and even more illegal. everyone is a jerk its the internet shit aint unicorn and rainbows people just need to grow a sack. and dmt nexus is where the nice peeps are at if you really want to meet some nice people hit it up.

I will say that this forum has been nothing but solid help, and great advice when I needed it. I try and return this positive vibe as much as I can.
Sure there’s always a few ego’s around, but one thing I’ve noticed is a lot of biting the hand that feeds you. I can understand where a lot of that impatient negative comments come from.
Sure you might be a Noob, and ask a stupid question at times, you get a jokingly reply from seasoned vets. That’s all fun and games, but the so called negative feedback for the most part I’ve noticed comes only after solid, helpful advice was given, and the asker didn’t like the answer, than proceeds to argue with the person that tried to help. I see that shit far to often.

This is called an "Askhole".. Ive been treated with respect every since I joined in 2018, and have learned a lot from many of you. I try to do my best to help out a noob if I have time. But when they get defensive about the advise you give... I just leave the conversation.

Look Ive been here for a really longtime, and the majority of people I have interacted with who have gone bat shit crazy on me, threatened to kill me over post deletions, rape me etc have been over 40

the young kids sure they say dumb shit, the majority here are who have problems are older adults,
